Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi

   • Upon arrival, meet your local tour guide and travel to the hotel for check-in.
   • Rest for the day to get off the jet lag.

   Driving distance: 35km - 40 mins

2. Day 2: Hanoi City Tour

   • Spend this day exploring Hanoi's charming city and learn more about Vietnam.
   • On this day, you will explore the following places:
     • Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda and learn about the Mahayana Buddhism practices and beliefs in Vietnam
     • Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
     • Spot the Presidential Palace
     • One-Pillar Pagoda
     • Old houses of Ho Chi Minh President
     • The Temple of Literature
   • Stroll around the courtyard and admire the roof, lake, etc.
   • Later on, you will discover Hanoi Old Quarter and Sword Lake before the day ends.

3. Day 3: Hanoi - Mai Chau

   • In the morning, you will leave Hanoi and travel to Mai Chau.
   • Take a walk, hop on the bicycle traversing through the rice fields, and see more of local life.

4. Day 4: Mai Chau - Pu Luong

   • Early in the morning, walk to the countryside near your lodge.
   • After breakfast, relax or visit the villages nestling in Mai Chau.
   • Depart to Pu Luong Nature Reserve in a one-hour drive.
   • Drive to Chien Lau Bridge, where you will begin walking and exploring until reaching Tan Lap Bridge.
   • Meet your driver and head back to the lodge.
   • Enjoy some free time and stunning views from your bungalow.

5. Day 5: Pu Luong

   • Enjoy the hike and explore Pu Luong in-depth, passing by a terraced rice field near Don Village, and then tread along corn fields and small villages.
   • Observe the local people and stop at their houses for further interaction.
   • After your picnic lunch, return to the lodge and refresh for the day.

6. Day 6: Pu Luong - Ninh Binh

   • Depart from Pu Luong to Ninh Binh in a nearly 4-hour drive.
   • Upon your arrival, have lunch of local cuisine prepared at a local house.
   • Begin your tour of Ninh Binh sightseeing at outstanding attractions like:
     • Tam Coc boat trip
     • Hoa Lu Temples
   •  Rest and overnight at your hotel in Ninh Binh.

7. Day 7: Cuc Phuong National Park

   • In the morning, depart to Cuc Phuong National Park for a full-day hike, trek in the jungle, and explore the verdant luxuriant jungles to observe gibbons, langur, turtles, etc.
   • Then, hike up to the Cave of Prehistoric Man. Then, through the rainforest to see the fauna and flora, thousand-year-old trees, and spot the wild animals.

8. Day 8: Ninh Binh - Halong Bay

   • This morning, leave Ninh Binh for the renowned Halong Bay cruise, embark on the traditional wooden junk, and sail further to the bay on a stunning bay of thousands of limestone peaks.
   • Enjoy lunch on the windy and captivating Halong Bay.
   • In the afternoon, enjoy activities such as:
     • Hiking to the cave
     • Kayaking in the water lagoon
     • Enjoy the sunset over the bay.
   • The boat will set sail in a quiet place overnight.

9. Day 9: Halong Bay - Hanoi

   • Early in the morning, indulge in Tai Chi exercise.
   • After breakfast, cruise further for the bay contemplation.

   • Travel back to Hanoi.

10. Day 10: Departure from Hanoi

    • After breakfast at your hotel in Hanoi, relax till you transfer to the airport for departure.
