Itinerary

1. Day 1: Antananarivo

   • Arrive at Ivato International Airport.
   • Transfer to your hotel.
   • Start a city tour of Antananarivo. Visit the Manjakamiadana Palace, the chic Antaninarenina district, and the commercial Ankorondrano district.

2. Day 2: Antananarivo to Ankarafantsika

   • The second day takes you to the capital of the Boeny region via national road number 4. The landscape is marked by lavaka.
   • Visit the Ankarafantsika National Park, rich in biodiversity with lakes and dense forests.
   • Spend the night in the park before continuing your journey to the north of Madagascar.

3. Day 3: Ankarafantsika - Antsohihy - Ambanja

   • Early morning, set off for Ambanja, the perfume valley and gateway to Nosy Be.
   • Cover 628 km in two stages, passing through Antsohihy for a night before reaching Ambanja. Discover a transitional landscape between shrub savannah and lush vegetation. Enjoy the cocoa, vanilla, pepper and ylang-ylang plantations of Ambanja.
   • Explore the town and its vast fields before settling into your hotel.

4. Day 4: Ambanja - Nosy Be

   • Transfers to Nosy Be are made from the port of Ankify, near Ambanja. Travellers can choose between a ferry, boat or speedboat. Nosy Be is rich in biodiversity and is often visited on Madagascar tours.
   • Your guide will settle you in at the hotel.
   • Continue the tour to the town center and beaches, such as Madirokely and Ambatoloaka.
   • Enjoy activities such as a pirogue ride and a picnic under the coconut trees.
   • In the evening, return to the hotel with your driver-guide.

5. Day 5: Lokobe Reserve

   • Transfer to Lokobe by car, then by traditional pirogue.
   • Leave for the fishing village of Ambatozavavy by car, offering a lush landscape and unique biodiversity. The reserve is home to endemic flora and fauna, including lemurs, chameleons and medicinal plants.
   • Return to your hotel in Nosy Be at the end of the day.

   • Explore Nosy Iranja Be and Nosy Iranja Kely. Discover the 2 km strip of white sand linking the two islets.
