Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Lake Natron Camp
- 6:00 am - Departure from Arusha for Lake Natron campsite.
- 1:00 pm - Arrival at Lake Natron campsite. Lunch is served upon arrival.
- Set off for the hike to explore the beautiful Ngare Sero Waterfall, enjoying the serene surroundings and possibly taking a refreshing swim.
- Discover Lake Natron, a significant breeding site for lesser flamingoes known for its vibrant pink waters.
- Return to the campsite for dinner and relaxation.
- Gather the necessary equipment and prepare for the summit climb.
Day 2: Ol Doinyo Lengai Summit and Departure to Arusha
- Begin the trek to Ol Doinyo Lengai summit at midnight. Navigate the steep and ashy slopes of Ol Doinyo Lengai. The climb takes 6-10 hours, aiming to reach the summit before sunrise.
- Experience a breathtaking sunrise over the Great Rift Valley from the summit at 2960m. On clear days, views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru are visible in the distance.
- Descend from the summit back to the campsite.
- Enjoy a quick bite and shower at the campsite before departing for Arusha.
- The tour concludes upon arrival at the campsite in Arusha.
