Day trip to Tarangire National Park
- Groups will depart at 8 am for Tarangire National Park, about a 2-3 hour journey from Arusha.
- Upon arrival, visitors begin with a mid-morning game drive to explore the park. One of the major attractions of Tarangire is its elephant population, estimated to be approximately 2500, the highest in northern Tanzania.
- Around 1 pm, guests will have lunch at Makete River viewpoint, a designated picnic area within the park.
- After this, the adventure continues with an afternoon game drive, which may offer sightings of lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, antelopes and gazelles. The Tarangire River attracts a variety of wildlife during the dry season, creating excellent opportunities for observing animals in their natural habitat.
- The trip ends at the park around 4 pm.
