Itinerary

Day 01: Tashkent
- Arrival in Tashkent. Transfer from the airport to the hotel for luggage drop-off and additional breakfast.
- Check-in to the hotel at 14:00. At 09:00 we start the excursion.
- Visit the ‘Ancient’ city of Tashkent and Hast Imam complex, where you will see the famous Koran of Osman caliph Uthman. Then, visit Chorsu Bazaar.
- Then by Tashkent metro to the city centre to visit the Museum of Applied Art.
Lunch and dinner are not included. Overnight in hotel.

Day 02: Tashkent - Kokand - Rishtan - Fergana
- Have Breakfast.
- At 06.30 am, transfer to the railway station for the train, which departs at 07:54 am and arrives in Kokand at 12.10 pm.
- We will meet at Kokand railway station and start the tour with a visit to Khudoyar Khan's palace, Jami mosque, Kamol Kazi and Norbutabek madrassahs.
- In the afternoon, we will visit the pottery workshop of a famous ceramist in Rishtan.
- Transfer to Fergana (80 km)
Lunch and dinner are not included, and overnight stays are in the hotel.

Day 03: Ferghana - Margilan - Tashkent
- Have Breakfast.
- Transfer from Fergana to Margilan to visit Said Ahmad-Khoja Madrasa and the ‘Yodgorlik’ silk factory, where you can see the process of silk production with traditional ‘ikat’ patterns.
- If the tour is on Thursday or Sunday, we will go to Kumtepa Suk, the largest market in the Fergana Valley.
- Return to Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 04: Tashkent - Urgench - Khiva
- Have Breakfast.
- At 10:30, Transfer to Tashkent airport for flight HY - 055 to Urgench (departure at 13:00/arrival at 14:30).
- Transfer to Khiva. The rest of the time is free.

Day 05: Khiva
- Take Breakfast at the hotel.
- At 09:00, start the excursion to the ancient complex of Ichan Kala: Kunya Ark, Mausoleum of Pahlavan Mahmud, Minaret and Madrasah of Ichan Kala, Minaret of Kalta Minor, Tash Khovli Palace, Ak Mosque, Anush Khan Baths, Muhammad Rahimkhan Madrasah, Friday Mosque.

Day 06: Khiva-Bukhara
- Take Breakfast at the hotel.
- Enjoy a long transfer to Bukhara (450 km, 7-8 hours) through the Kizilkum desert (red sands).
- Arrival and accommodation at the hotel.
- Free time for a walk through the narrow streets of the old city.

Day 07: Bukhara
- Take Breakfast at the hotel.
- Visit the Magokki Attari Mosque, built on the site of a Buddhist and Zoroastrian temple (12th-16th centuries).
- Visit the 16th-century covered market known as the ‘merchant domes’. During the visit, gold embroidery, copper, blacksmith and weaving workshops are discovered.
- Visit to Ulugbek Madrasah, built by Tamerlane's grandson in 1417, Abdulaziz Khan Madrasah (17th century), Tim Abdullah Khan Madrasah (16th century), built in 1577 and used by Afghan silk and wool traders, and the magnificent architectural complex of Poy Kalon (12th-16th centuries), including Masjidi Kalon Mosque, Miri Arab Madrasah and the highest minaret of its time in the East.
- Visit the majestic Ark Citadel, the residence of the Emir until 1920.
- End the day with a visit to Chor Minor (a small madrasa with four minarets).

Day 08: Bukhara
- Take your Breakfast.
- Walk around the old city of Bukhara: we admire the complex Lyabi Hauz XVI-XVII centuries with madrasah Nodir Divan-Begi, madrasah Kukeldash and khanaka Nodir Devon-Begi/ Continued sightseeing of Bukhara: Ismail Samani mausoleum, built in X century, a masterpiece of Arabic geometry, Bolo Hauz complex, including a mosque (XVIII century), mausoleum Chashma Ayub.

Day 09: Bukhara-Nurata - yurt camp
- Take Breakfast and Drive to Nurata (180 km).
- On the way, visit Gijduvan and the ceramists' workshop. Continuation of the trip to Nurata.
- Tour Nurata: the pool with sacred fish—its magical and religious origin. Historians connect the formation of the city with the fortress Nur (translated as ‘ray’, ‘ray of light’), built here by Alexander the Great in the 4th century BC. The fortress served as a border between the wild steppes and agricultural lands. The fortification ruins have survived to this day and are one of the sights of Nurata.
- Lunch at the house of one of the locals in Nurata. Nurata was the northern gate to the Zerafshan valley.
- After lunch, we transfer to the yurt camp (approximately 70 km), where we make our first acquaintance with the life of nomads.
Dinner will be in the camp restaurant, accompanied by traditional songs. Spend the night in yurts (traditional tents of nomads).

Day 10: Yurt Camp - Samarkand
- Take your Breakfast.
- Enjoy the Camel ride, transfer to Aidarkul Lake, swim (depending on weather), have lunch in the yurt camp, depart for Samarkand (240 km, about 3-4 hours' drive), and arrive for accommodation.
Dinner is not included. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 11: Samarkand
- Take your Breakfast. The Great Silk Road has long passed through this city, and the famous Tamerlane, in the XIV century, made it the capital of his vast empire and built here many architectural masterpieces, many of which have survived to this day.
- The tour starts with a visit to the famous Registan Square, where Ulugbek, Till Kori and Sherdor madrassahs are located.
- Visit to the Gur-Emir Mausoleum. We resume our tour of Samarkand with a visit to the graveyard of Shahi-Zinda.
- Visit Ulugbek Observatory, Afrosiab Archaeological Museum, Bibi Khanim Mosque and Siab, the busiest market in the city.
- Visit the Konigil Meros paper factory. Lunch and dinner are not included. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: Samarkand - Shakhrisabz - Samarkand
- Take your Breakfast.
- Departure to Shakhrisabz (150 + 150 km), the birthplace of Tamerlane.
- Then, a city tour (about 2 hours), including the remains of Tamerlane's palace Ak-Saray, which means ‘white palace’, the construction of which was left unfinished after his death.
- Visit the complex: the Friday mosque of Kok-Gumbaz, built by Ulugbek in 1432 in honour of his father. Imam Hazrati Mosque has a shady summer terrace; Darus Siadat is the tomb of Timur's eldest son, Jahangir.
- Return to Samarkand.

Day 13: Samarkand-Tashkent
- Take your Breakfast.
- Depart to Tashkent.
- Arrive and check in to your hotel accommodation.
- Visit religious sites: Catholic Church and Orthodox Church.
- Take a panoramic tour of Tashkent: Independence Square, Opera and Ballet Theatre Square, and Amir Temur Square.
