Itinerary

Day 01: Tashkent
- Arrival in Tashkent. Meeting with the driver. Start sightseeing:
- Khast Imom Complex, including Barak Khan Madrassah, Kaffal Shashi mausoleum, Quran Library & Mosque.
- Chorsu Bazaar is the primary oriental market in Tashkent.
- Kukeldash Madrassah (XVI c) – The grand 16th c. Madrassah has a domed courtyard. Now, the building has returned to service as an Islamic school.
- Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue SS:
- Amir Temur Square is a central park with a statue of Amir Temur on horseback and the so-called “Broadway.”
- Independence (Mustakillik) Square—the former “Red Squire,” the main squire of Tashkent, with a monument to WW II victims. Tashkent Metro stations.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at hotel.
- Arrival in Tashkent. Meeting with the driver. Start sightseeing:

Day 02: Tashkent-Bukhara
AM:
- Breakfast.
- Transfer to the railway station and departure to Bukhara by train Sharq or Afrosiab at 08:23-12:29.
- Check-in hotel upon arrival and sightseeing of:
- ARK Fortress (VI—XIX c)—In the Middle Ages, it was a whole town with the emir's house, with wives, mosques, a mint place, government institutes, store rooms, a prison and a square for public executions.
- Poikalon (XII–XVI c) is an architectural ensemble consisting of a “Masjidi Kalon” mosque, a “Miri Arab” madrasah, and a minaret (46 m).
PM:
- Lunch at a local restaurant.
- Continue sightseeing:
- Trading Domes consists of three trading centres: Tok-i-Zargaron (1570) – Jeweler’s Bazaar, Tok-i-Tilpak Furushon – Cap Maker’s Bazaar, Tok-i-Sarrafon – Moneychanger’s Bazaar.
- Medresse of Ulugbek and Abdulzizkhan.
- Labi—Hauz (XVI-XVII c) is a complex with Nodir—Devon Begi Madrassah and Khanaka.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Bukhara--Samarkand
AM:
- Transfer to the railway station and departure to Samarkand by train Sharq or Afrosiab at 04:20-06:03.
- Breakfast.
- Arrival and sightseeing of:
- Gur Amir Mausoleum (XV c.) is a Timurid dynastic burial vault, a unique architectural monument with a blue-ribbed tessellated dome.
- Registan square (XV–XVII c) official center of Timurs Empire, consist of grandiose Madrassah of Ulugbek, Sher Dor & Tillya Kari.
PM:
- Lunch at a local restaurant.
- Start sightseeing in Samarkand:
- Bibi Khanum mosque (XIVc) was built by Timur to be the biggest mosque at the time. Architects, craftsmen, and painters built it in five years.
- Siab bazaar (closed on Mon)
- Shahi Zinda Mausoleum (XIV-XV c) is a “Town of Dead” complex of more than 20 unique buildings of different ages.
- Dinner at a local restaurant.
- Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Samarkand - Bukhara
AM
- Breakfast.
- Transfer to the railway station and departure to Tashkent by train Sharq or Afrosiab at 06:13 - 08:43
Arrival.
- Free time for self-exploration.
- Transfer to the airport for the departure flight.
