Meet me at the Kilauea Visitor Center. We will drive in my vehicle to explore several sights within Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
Feel the heat coming from steam vents, and at the end, explore the edge of the cliffs, taking in the Pacific views. A sea arch is there to enjoy.

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Private Tour
- After meeting near the restrooms at the Kilauea Visitor Center, we climb in my truck (a 2023 Ford F150) and drive up to the Kilauea Overlook.
- While taking in the views, we will learn about some of the recent activities, with pictures available.
- Feeling the heat from the steam vents is so rewarding, and that is our next stop.
- We will then start walking to the lava tube.
- After parking, the walk usually takes around 15 minutes.
- Next, we will drive down Chain of Craters Road, making several stops on the way to the ocean to explore some past lava flows and formations.
- The last stop is at the edge of the cliffs, where you can take in the Pacific views. Oh, and there is a sea arch to enjoy.
