Wildlife and Cultural Experience in Nairobi
- You will be picked up at 6:00 am from your hotel/airport to reach Nairobi National Park, where you will go through the main gate for a three-hour game drive. Your guide will aim to show you as many different animals as possible; you may even spot rhinos and lions getting ready for the morning.
- Then head to the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, which is only open for a short period each day from 11:00 am to 12:00. Here, you will learn more about the baby elephants and what led them to be orphans. You will get more information on raising them and the efforts to re-introduce them back to the wilderness.
- After this, you will have about an hour for lunch (at your own expense). Then, proceed to the Giraffe Center. Here, you will see the magnificent creatures and learn why they are endangered. You will also learn their behaviours and traits and receive more conservation education. To cap the visit, you can feed them and maybe get a giraffe kiss.
- Then, you will proceed to Bomas Of Kenya and have an exciting experience with the local cultural dancers and showcase the early traditional homestead of the communities in Kenya.
- Later in the evening, have a sumptuous dinner.
- Enjoy advanced reservations at Nairobi’s premier dinner and cultural show at the stunning Safari Park Hotel. Small-group tours include door-to-door pickup and comfortable transfers in a private vehicle. Watch colourful acrobatic performances and listen to live music from local Swahili acts while digging into a traditional Kenyan dinner with classics like barbecued meat and jacket potatoes.
- A Buffet dinner and live musical show in Nairobi’s Safari Park Hotel start 7:00 pm to 9 pm. Dinner is served while listening to music from the live band playing local, African, Kenyan, Swahili and country music. At 9 pm. the show will start at 10 pm. (local timings). This is a 1-hour show. Essentially Kenyan in both atmosphere and cuisine, you will be offered a stunning selection of roasted, barbecued meats, sizzling hot, presented on skewers and carved at your table, accompanied with jacket potatoes, crispy salads and tasty dips. Choose from prime Kenyan steak, succulent chicken, and traditionally roasted mutton and sink your teeth into various meats (plenty of vegetarian options too).
- After the show, you will be dropped off at your hotel.
