Description
Experience Kilimanjaro Climbing Lemosho Route Tanzania, Tanzania Bush Safari & Zanzibar Beach Safari. For eight days, Mt Kilimanjaro mountain climbs to Tanzania Parks, starting with Tarangire and moving to the Ngorongoro conservation area. The Ngorongoro crater provides a protected habitat for thousands of mammals and birds. The entire day is spent on the crater floor viewing lions, hyenas, wildebeest, zebra, black rhinoceros, and many species of small antelopes. The Crater is a spectacular setting in which to experience your African safari. Later, the safari will be finished with beach relaxation at Zanzibar Beach.

Day 1: Londorossi Gate (2,250m) – Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,780m)
Distance: 7km
Environment: Montane forest
Time: 3 to 4 hours
- In the morning, you will be picked up by a Perfect Wilderness Tours & Safaris Representative from the Hotel in Moshi/ Arusha . And drive to Kilimanjaro.
- After you’ve gone through all the park entry formalities, you will head to the starting point of your trekking journey, located at the end of the rainforest.
- Before setting out, you’ll be served with your lunch. The walk on the first day will be brief and short, lasting about 3 or 4 hours. This will let you enjoy the lush scenery to the fullest, which, as you’ll see, will change for your trek. You might even catch a glimpse of the thumbless colobus monkeys sitting in the branches above you.

Day 2: Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,780m) – Shira 2 Camp (3,900m
Distance: 12km
Environment: Moorland
Time: 6 to 8 hours
- Walking along the thin trail through the rainforest, you will notice the vegetation becoming scarcer and scarcer until you finally reach a moorland filled with Lobelia and Eric plants.
- Ascending through rolling hills, you will reach Shira 1 Camp in about 4 – 5 hours. From your campsite, you’ll witness the snow-capped summit of Kibo looking over the Shira plateau.
- After lunch, continue to Shira 2 Camp. The terrain is much flatter than before, making your hike seem more leisurely. You will enjoy fantastic views of the Great Rift Valley and Mount Meru. Beautiful and distinctive Giant Lobelias still dot the moor landscape.
- Walking on the ground where lava used to flow, you will reach the Camp, where you will have your evening meal and overnight stay.

Day 3: Shira 2 Camp (3,900m) – Lava Tower (4,640m)-Barranco Camp (3,960m)
Distance: 12km
Environment: Semi-desert
Time: 6 to 8 hours
- After breakfast, you’ll resume your ascent to Lava Tower following a boulder-stream terrain. In the distance, you can get sightings of Kibo, which will encourage you to continue uphill.
- After reaching the Lava Tower at 4640 meters, you’ll need to rest and properly acclimate to the altitude.
- Then, a downward journey to Baranco Camp will follow. This method of climbing high but sleeping low allows your body to acclimatize to the differing altitudes and gives you a good idea of how your body reacts to changes in Altitude.
- As you ascend, you’ll notice a sharp change in scenery, and suddenly, you’ll be surrounded by giant Senecias and relatively smaller Lobelia plants.
- Trekking for 6 to 8 hours will lead you to the beautiful, green Baranco Camp. You can get a good view of the surrounding snow-capped mountains from here.

Day 4: Baranco Camp (3,960m) – Karanga Camp (4,035m)
Distance: 7km
Environment: Alpine Desert
Time: 4 to 5 hours
- Today, the Baranco Wall stands before you to conquer. Some stages will require you to use your hands for a better grip, but no actual climbing is necessary, and your guide will be with you every step of the way to provide a helping hand. The route, with its numerous ascents and descents, allows you a chance for further acclimatization before reaching the mountain ridge.
- Walking along the ridge, you can take in the beautiful landscape with its stunning contrasts of desert and vegetation before finally reaching the cloudy Karanga Camp.
- Your trek will take 4 to 5 hours, leaving more than enough time to rest and play a game of rummy.

Day 5: Karanga Camp (4,035m) to Barafu Camp (4,640m)
Distance: 6km
Environment: Alpine desert
Time: 3 to 4 hours- Awakening to sunlight dancing off the Kibo Summit, you will enjoy an energetic breakfast before setting out to today’s destination—the Barafu Camp.
- Most of the day will be spent walking through dry, deserted terrain with Kibo on your left side.
- After 3-4 hours, you will reach Barafu Camp, where you will have an early dinner and overnight as the highlight of your trip is only a few short hours away.

Day 6: Barafu Camp (4,640m) – Uhuru Peak (5,895m) -Mweka Camp (3,100m)
Distance: 20 km
Environment: Alpine desert/stone scree/ice-capped summit/Montana forest
Time: 14 to 16 hours
- After sipping hot tea with snacks, you’ll start trekking at around midnight. With aid from a torchlight, you’ll climb the heavily screed surface of Kibo. Ascending for 5 to 7 hours in the dark will lead you to Stella Point. Trekking for another 1 or 2 hours along the crater ride will take you to Uhuru Peak, which is 5,895 meters high. This point is known as the roof of Africa, and from here, you’ll experience Kilimanjaro and all its glory and enjoy a 360° view of the landscape. After taking pictures and celebrations, you’ll descend the same route.
- Shortly before midday, you’ll arrive at Barafu Camp for your lunch. After a warm meal and a few hours break, you’ll head towards Mweka Camp at 3,100 meters, where you’ll have your dinner and well-earned rest.

Day 7: Mweka Camp (3,100m) – Mweka Gate (1,630m) -Moshi
Distance: 8 km
Environment: Montana forest
Time: 3 to 4 hours
- The final ascend of your amazing Kilimanjaro trekking adventure begins after breakfast with a traditional farewell ceremony from the mountain crew.
- Then, a gentle 3 to 4-hour descent through the rainforest continues to Mweka Gate, where your transferring driver will be waiting for you. He will drive you to Arusha overnight and after a warm shower.
- Dinner and Overnight at Venus Hotel.

Day 8: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
- Morning at 0830hrs, pick up from Venus Hotel in Arusha and drive on tarmac road 120km to Tarangire National Park for game drives.
- Lunch picnic and after lunch continue with afternoon game viewing in the park to look for Lion, Leopard, Elephant, buffalo, Python, Zebra, Oryx, Impala and more. Over 450 species of birds have been observed.
- Late in the afternoon, the driver will take you for dinner and overnight at Sangaiwe Tented camp.

Day 9: Tarangire National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
- After breakfast, depart Tarangire for Ngorongoro. Upon arrival, Descend into the Crater for a 6-hour Crater tour. This 100-square-mile natural amphitheatre hosts an astonishing array of wildlife, and you may be lucky enough to see rhinos, elephants, lions, buffalo, and large herds of zebras and wildebeest.
- A picnic lunch will be taken into the Crater.
- Later, drive to Karatu Town for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge.

Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater- Serengeti National Park
- After breakfast, leave with your packed lunch for a full game drive on the Serengeti Park acacia Savannah in the central to the east region.
- Around 12.30 pm and 1.00 pm, take a break for your picnic lunch; thereafter, proceed with the tour afternoon game drive.
- From mid-January to February, much to mid-April, 95% of wildebeest females mate to a total of 60000. Then, 8 to 8.5 months later, those females that conceived give birth on the same southern plains after a long journey.
- Evening drive to your Osinon Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Full day Serengeti National Park
- Today is your full-day safari, and you will have both morning and afternoon game drives through the Serengeti, exploring the wildlife in the great open plains.

Day 12: Serengeti National Park- Flights to Zanzibar
- After Early breakfast check out and drive to Ikoma Airstrip with game en route to catch your flights to Zanzibar.
- Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel. Booked on Half Board.

Day 13: Relaxation in Zanzibar
- Early morning breakfast. Thereafter, you will go on a Spice Tour. The history of Zanzibar would be incomplete without the cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper and many other spices which are essential ingredient in a Zanzibar’s everyday life, it is the island’s connection to spices and herbs. Zanzibar and Spice is a romantic entanglement that dates back to the 16th century, apart from being an important commodity on the trade routes.
- They can be seen in the plantations just outside Zanzibar town, which is also a fantastic opportunity to see Zanzibar's countryside and rural areas and connect with local people.
- Later, back to the hotel, relax at the beach as you await Dinner and overnight at UROA BAY.

Day 14: Full day Relaxation Zanzibar
- Breakfast, and thereafter, you will depart to Stone Town of Zanzibar, also known as Mji Mkongwe, the oldest town in Zanzibar and the Main City (Capital city) of Zanzibar. Situated on the western coast of Unguja, the main Island of the Zanzibar Archipelago. Former Capital of the Zanzibar Sultanate and flourishing center of the spice trade and the Slave trade in the 19th Century. It retains its importance as the main city of Zanzibar during the period of the British protectorate.
- When Tanganyika and Zanzibar joined to form the United Republic of Tanzania, Zanzibar kept its autonomous Status, with Stone Town as its local government.
- Later, back to the hotel, relax at the beach as you await Dinner and overnight at UROA BAY.

Day 15: Outbound Flights from Zanzibar Airport
- Breakfast, and thereafter, you will be transferred to the Airport to catch your flight back home.
