Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Uganda

   • Today, you will arrive in Uganda at Entebbe International Airport. 
   • Upon finalization of your emigration formalities, you will be met and welcomed by our safari guide, who will bear a sign with your name. You will thereafter be transferred to your accommodation in Entebbe town, which is only a few minutes’ drive from the airport. 
   • The guide will assist you in checking in, exchanging money, or making purchases where necessary. Time permitting, the guide will give you a thorough briefing of your tour later in the evening.

2. Day 2: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

   • You will start your tour in the morning by driving to Queen Elizabeth National Park. 
   • You will have lunch and sightseeing along the way. You will arrive in the park in the evening. Time allows you to have a game drive into the park and to your accommodation. 
   • Queen Elizabeth National Park's diverse ecosystem of grassy plains, tropical forests, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. On this game drive, you might see leopards, giant forest hogs, Cape buffalo, elephants, defassa waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, Topi and bushbucks.

3. Day 3: Kyambzee ura Gorge chimpanwalk, boat ride on Kazinga channel

   • After breakfast, you will drive to Kyambura Gorge of Queen Elizabeth National Park for a guided chimpanzee tracking walk. 
   • The forested region of the park is a habitat for chimpanzees, monkeys, baboons and forest animals. You will have an hour to view, observe and photograph chimpanzees. 
   • You will later return to the lodge for lunch, and in the afternoon, you will have a boat cruise along the famous Kazinga channel that connects Lake George to Lake Edward. On the calm cruise, expect to see animals on the banks, Nile crocodiles, and hundreds of bird species and elephants linger on the shoreline, providing the park’s prime wildlife on the spectacle stretch. 
   • Afterwards, you will return to your accommodation.

4. Day 4: Drive to Bwindi via Ishasha game drive

   • After breakfast, you will check out of your accommodation to be transferred to the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park for a game drive on your way to Bwindi's impenetrable national park. You will be led by an experienced ranger guide who will assist you in the search for the tree-climbing lions, more animals and birds. 
   • Later in the afternoon, you will proceed to Bwindi, an impenetrable national park, the home of mountain Gorillas. 
   • Upon arrival, you will check in to your accommodation and rest in preparation for the next day’s activities.

5. Day 5: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi

   • After breakfast, you will be accompanied by the guide to the park headquarters for the briefing at 08:00hrs, equipped with your packed lunch. 
   • You will then be divided into groups depending on the Gorilla family you have been allocated to track, thereafter proceed in to the forest and start your Gorilla trekking experience following the trails in the forest. You will have one hour to observe, photograph and record the giant and gentle Gorillas.
   • After tracking the gorillas, you will return to your accommodation to relax, or you can enjoy any other optional activities around Bwindi.

6. Day 6: Flight to Entebbe and departure

   • You will check out of the lodge in the morning for a drive to Kihihi airstrip. 
   • From here you will take a flight to Entebbe airport. 
   • The flight departs at 09:30hr and lands in Entebbe at 11:30hr. You will carry a packed lunch. 
   • Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will check in for your departure flights. Or advise accordingly.
