Description

Itinerary

Visit Nutmeg Factory and Little India in George Town
- 8:45 am.: Pick up from the hotel lobby.
- 9.00 am.: Visit the famous award-winning tropical Spice Garden, which sits on an 8-acre site on the hilly terrain of Teluk Bahang.
- Visit the Bamboo Garden, sip herbal tea sweetened with Stevia; a natural sweetener.
- 10:30 am.: Depart to The Nutmeg Factory. Continue to Nutmeg Factory at Balik Pulau to marvel at the gift of nature, the Nutmeg fruit - two spices in one package. Nutmeg is an actual nut hidden in a hard shell with a blood-red lacy known as Mace wrapping the shell.
- Try the sweet nutmeg juice and discover the secret of nutmeg kept from many of us for centuries.
- Proceed to Little India, an Indian enclave in the middle of Chinatown, at George Town.
- Take a walk through Little India, experience the cultural richness and excitement, and also get to visit the spice shop and spice mill.
- The tour ends with lunch at a local Indian restaurant called Tiffin, taste excellent Indian cuisine and drink the famous masala tea or try lassi or buttermilk.
