Description
I will accompany you on a walk through the city, passing various highlights directly related to the experiences of citizens and families who lived through World War 1. Examples of historical stops are the Menin Gate, military sites such as a Commonwealth Cemetery, the Medieval Ramparts with ‘Casemates,’ and the Lapidarium, which is the only remaining site showing the destruction of the war. The tour can be extended to include a visit to the IFFM or a steep ascent to the top of the Belfry Tower (+/- 260 steps), depending on your preferences (entrance tickets are not included in the price).

City Walk
- Starting at Ypres' eyecatcher, "The Cloth Hall," in the center of the city, we will walk through the "Menenstraat" and the Menin Gate.
- Over the ramparts to the "Rijselstraat" back to the center. A lot of stopovers with many details are waiting for us.
