Itinerary

Day 1: Windhoek to Sossusvlei
- We will pick you up from your hotel or guest house at 9 am.
- Depart straight on the way south to the world-famous Sossusvlei via the picturesque Spreetshoogte Pass.
- Have a stop-over at the viewpoint to appreciate the endless view of the Namib.
- Our lunch will be at the Solitaire oasis.
- We will arrive at the lodge or campsite at around 3-4 pm.
- This time is extremely hot; we recommend that you spend the day cooling off by the pool.
- Early rest is required as tomorrow you are expected to wake up early in the morning.
Overnight at Moon Moutain Lodge or Similar.
Meals: Dinner.

Day 2: Dune 45 and Desert Experience
- Early in the morning, at sunrise, we will visit the Sesriem Gate to the remarkable Sossusvlei.
- We start off by climbing picturesque Dune 45, experiencing the beauty and vastness of the Orange-colored landscape.
- Off-road drive to the Dead Vlei, a place of vast desert pan where dried-up, ancient acacias stand silent in the impressive, open-air gallery.
- If you have enough energy, you can climb one of the highest dunes on Earth, the 'Big Daddy' or 'Big Mama.'
- After the morning excursion, we will return to Sesriem for lunch, taking a break for 1-2 hours.
- Once the heat subsides, we will take a short excursion to Sesriem Canyon.
- These will be our last activities for the day.

Day 3: Sossusvlei to Swakopmund
- Today we will move from the desert to the sea.
- On our way, we will cross the Tropic of Capricorn and traverse the Gaub.
- The Kuiseb passes, driving down to the dry river bed at the bottom of the Kuiseb Canyon before climbing up the other side and watching the spectacular desert landscape unfold.
- Having arrived at the coast, we will stop in Walvis Bay to enjoy the view of flamingos and other birds in the lagoons.
- We will take a short break for lunch.
- We will overnight in Swakopmund.
- Dinner tonight is at the client’s own expense in a local restaurant.

Day 4: Swakopmund to Skeleton Coast
- Today, our adventure takes us through the infamous Skeleton Coast National Park all the way to the Atlantic Ocean.
- The Skeleton Coast is a very desolate but fascinating area, known for various landmarks including the Welwitschia mirabilis, the Northern Namibia sand sea, the derelict oil rig near Toscanini, the Huab lagoon, and the diminishing remains of the Winston Shipwreck.
- On exiting the national park, we stop for Instagram-worthy photos of the iconic skull and crossbones gate.
- We arrive at Cape Cross lodge in the afternoon where you will spend the overnight and have the opportunity for a sunset walk on the beach.

Day 5: Skeleton Coast Exploration
- Today, we embark on a short walk to the Cape Cross Reserve, home to one of the world’s largest breeding colonies of Cape Fur seals.
- During the breeding season (November-December), up to 200,000 plus seals can be spotted basking on the beach – a unique sight and smell to behold.
- After our visit to the seal colony, we continue traveling along the Skeleton Coast.
- Along the way, we stop to view the Zeila Shipwreck, one of the latest victims of the infamous Skeleton Coast from as recent as 2007.
- Early this afternoon, we reach Swakopmund, Namibia’s top seaside destination. The rest of the day is free for you to do some sightseeing and explore the quaint town on foot.
- Dinner tonight is at your own expense in one of Swakopmund’s excellent restaurants, and our guide will be happy to make recommendations or bookings depending on what we feel like.

Day 6: Swakopmund to Windhoek – End of Safari
- Our last morning on the Namibia Safari begins with an early start to hop on the shuttle back to Windhoek.
- You will arrive in Windhoek between 13:00 and 14:00.
- You will be dropped off at your accommodation of choice within Windhoek city limits or at the Airport for your onward journey.
