Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Dar es Salaam – Transfer to Nyerere National Park

   • Meet on arrival in Dar es Salaam and transfer to the domestic airport for the Selous Game Reserve, Nyerere National Park flight.
   • Meet on arrival and transfer to Lake Manze Tented Camp, where you will stay for the next two nights on a full-board basis.
   • This great little camp was established on the banks of the lake of the same name and is a superb location for seeing all types of wildlife, particularly elephants that wander slowly through the camp.
   • While a simple camp, there is a great atmosphere!

2. Day 2-3: Safari Experience at Lake Manze Tented Camp, Selous Game Reserve

   • Lake Manze Camp is set right in the heart of the best game area in the Selous, and is, arguably, one of the best value options in Africa!
   • Set up around 4 years ago on an elephant run it has simply gone from strength to strength and, based on our ratings system, where the most expensive is not necessarily the best, this definitely ticks all of the boxes as far as we are concerned!

3. Day 4-5: Safari Adventure at Mdonya Old River Camp, Ruaha National Park

   • Transferr to the airstrip for the morning flight to Ruaha NP.
   • Met on arrival and transferred to Mdonya Old River Camp, on the western side of the park, to stay for 2 nights on a full board basis.
   • This small camp, like its sister, Manze, offers great value for money and exceptional game viewing year-round.

4. Day 6-8: Relaxation at Bluebay Beach Resort, Zanzibar Island

   • Meet and transfer to the airstrip in time for the morning flight via Dar to Zanzibar.

   • Meet on arrival and transfer across the island to Sunshine Hotel, where you will stay for three nights on a half-board basis.

   • This idyllic little beach lodge is set on one of Zanzibar's best beaches and, while offering simple accommodation, it is a superb option for a few nights.

5. Day 9: Departure from Zanzibar

   • Transferred back to Zanzibar Airport to fly to Dar es Salaam international airport to connect onto your international flights or connect your international flight right in Zanzibar.
