Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival and Valle de Luna Sunset

   • Transfer from Calama Airport to San Pedro de Atacama.
   • Valle de Luna at sunset is an unforgettable experience to start a dream program in the driest desert in the world.
   • We will leave from San Pedro around 4:30 p.m. to tour the place and wait for the sunset in a place chosen by the team in charge of the excursion.
   • The return is to the door of the accommodation.

2. Day 2: Chaxa Lagoon and Highland Lagoons Miscanti and Miñiques

   • Chaxa Lagoon and highland lagoons Miscanti and Miñiques Located 50 km from San Pedro and 2,400 meters above sea level, Chaxa Lagoon is a must-see in San Pedro de Atacama and the Los Flamencos National Reserve with its impressive panoramic view of the Cordillera de los Andes and a large population of flamingos that inhabit the place and give life to one of the most magical shows that we can observe.
   • After visiting Chaxa, we will continue on the way to another magical place in the desert at more than 4,500 meters above sea level to observe the Miscanti and Miñiques highland lagoons, located at the foot of the Andes mountains and more than 150 km from San Pedro de Atacama where you can observe the flora and fauna of this place.
   • The excursion begins at 08:30 am leaving from your accommodation until returning around 4:30 pm.

3. Day 3: Laguna Cejar and Astronomical Tour

   • Laguna Cejar 15:00 and Astronomical Tour 19:40.
   • Laguna Cejar is located in the middle of the Salar de Atacama, about 26 km from San Pedro de Atacama and is one of the most visited attractions of the Chilean highlands due to its high concentration of salt, which allows its visitors to easily float on its waters with greater density which makes this experience a relaxing activity in an unparalleled environment.
   • This tour begins at 3:00 p.m. leaving for Cejar and once this visit is over, we continue to one of the most incredible and significant attractions of the desert, the Astronomical Tour.
   • The sky of San Pedro de Atacama is one of the cleanest in the world due to the low concentration of humidity, which allows for wide, cloudless views practically all year round. This excursion is led by a guide specialized in astronomy who will seek to connect the traveler with the ancient cultures of the desert and their relationship with the stars.
   • The end of this excursion is approximately 11:30 p.m. hrs in San Pedro de Atacama.

4. Day 4: Tatio Geysers Exploration and Departure

   • Tatio Geysers 05:30 am to 11:30 am.
   • The Tatio Geysers are part of a geothermal field of volcanic origin and are located at more than 4,200 meters above sea level.
   • This excursion begins early in the morning to better observe the condensation of water when it makes contact with the atmosphere of one of the most important geothermal fields in the world.
   • It includes breakfast on board and begins at 05:30 am and returns around 11:30 am to San Pedro de Atacama to finish the 4-day program returning to Calama airport by private transfer.
   • All tours include food depending on time and duration (breakfast, lunch, and cocktails).
