- 8:00 AM: Depart Rabaul Wharf and drive for 15 minutes through the ruins of Rabaul to the Hot Springs.

- 8:50 AM: Arrive at the Yamamoto Bunker and New Guinea Club. Here, you will learn about the history of Rabaul Town, colonial times, WWI & WWII History, tsunamis, per-independence history and the destruction of Rabaul Town in 1994.
- 9:20 AM: Depart for Rabaul Volcano Observatory.
