Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

   • At 8 o’clock, you will be picked up from your hotel within Nairobi city centre/Westlands and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the Rift Valley.
   • Then embark on your journey. You will arrive in time for lunch at the camp. Check-in and have lunch.
   • In the evening at 4:00 PM, depart for a game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve, which will be 2 hours. The drive ends at 6:00 PM.
   • Return back to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner, ending with a good time for resting at the tented camp.

   Dinner and overnight at Miti Mingi Eco Camp or a similar camp.

2. Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara Reserve

   • Have breakfast at 6:30 am. At 7 am, leave for a full day of game viewing in the park.
   • Spend the entire day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the big five, hippos, and Nile crocodile.
   • Afterward, enjoy a picnic lunch in the park under the shade of a croton tree, overlooking the vast landscape of the park.
   • Witness the spectacular event of the great migration, the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti in Tanzania, followed by predators such as lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.

   Dinner and overnight at Miti Mingi Eco Camp or a similar camp.

3. Day 3: Depart Maasai Mara to Namanga

   • Enjoy breakfast at the camp. Afterward, proceed with checkout formalities.
   • Drive back to Nairobi.
   • From Nairobi, a small car will pick you up and proceed to Namanga, which is the border town between Kenya and Tanzania.

   Accommodation will be arranged at the Namanga River Hotel.

4. Day 4: Namanga/Arusha to Manyara National Park

   • After breakfast, embark on a drive to Arusha.
   • Upon arrival in Arusha, join a group heading to Manyara National Park.
   • Manyara is approximately a 2-hour drive from Arusha.
   • Once at Manyara, enjoy game drives for 2 to 3 hours.
   • After lunch, continue with game drives until the evening.
   • Return to the campsite for dinner and relaxation.

5. Day 5: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

   • Begin the day with breakfast. Depart for Serengeti, enjoying a game drive en-route to the campsite.
   • Continue with game drives in the afternoon until late evening, exploring the vast Serengeti wilderness.
   • Return to the campsite for dinner and relaxation under the starry sky.

6. Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

   • Depart Serengeti at 7 a.m. Game drive en route to Ngorongoro Park with picnic lunch.

   Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

7. Day 7: Ngorongoro to Arusha

   • Enjoy breakfast at the lodge. Proceed to Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day tour with picnic lunches.
   • Explore the diverse habitats and landscapes of Ngorongoro Conservation Area, including grassland plains, savanna woodlands, forests, mountains, volcanic craters, lakes, rivers, and swampland.
   • Visit Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s largest unbroken calderas, and admire its stunning scenery and abundant wildlife.
   • Explore major archaeological sites such as Olduvai Gorge and Laetolil, where hominin remains dating back millions of years have been discovered.
   • Check out from the lodge and depart for Arusha.
   • Arrive in Arusha for dinner and overnight stay at Venus Premier Hotel.

8. Day 8: Arusha to Nairobi

   • Breakfast at the hotel and at 7 am, you are picked up by the shuttle and drive to Nairobi arriving at around 2:30 pm.
