Rafting on Marshyangdi River is well-known as one of the best whitewater runs in the world. A complete expedition experience in the remote 'wild west' of Nepal, this solid white water rafting is a serious trip as the rapids are continuous, challenging and equally committing.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu and meet your local tour guide for pick-up and transfer to hotel.

Day 2: Besisahar
Drive to Besisahar.

Day 3: Khudi
Commence trekking for 2 hours to Khudi.
Your expedition leader and guides will brief you and train you.

Day 4: Rafting on the Marsyangdi River
Be prepared for continuous bumping into the challenging rapids and it doesn’t stop after the 1st day.
Run on the rapids and tackle the intense whitewater rafting for the next 5 hours.
Lunch will be provided on the way.
Continue descent to the camping site on the sandy beach.

Day 2: Paundi
Paddle down to Paundi where you encounter class 4/-5 rapids and plenty of grades 3.
The rapids are more open and nowhere as powerful.
End the day at Bhotewodar and camp on the banks in the cave of a Shiva temple.

Day 6: Bimal Nagar & Return to Kathmandu
The River becomes very mellow and goes through a high walled gorge with birds and vegetation that can only be described as breathtaking.
Reach your take out point at Bimal Nagar by lunchtime.
Return to Kathmandu.

Day 7: Departure
Final departure to your destination.
