Elephant Orphanage
- The tour starts by picking you up from your Hotel/Home in Nairobi at 9:30 AM.
- Drive to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.
- Enjoy a walk through the little center from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in an open space with a rope fence around it.
- Witness the youngest elephants trotting out of the bush to greet their keepers.
- Watch as the keepers provide giant milk bottles to the baby elephants, allowing you to observe each little one slurping and gargling their milk for the next 10-15 minutes.
- After milk time, observe the elephants playing in the water and interacting with the keepers, providing an opportunity for photos.
- Learn about each elephant's background, including their age upon arrival at the orphanage, where they were rescued, and the circumstances that led to their rescue.
