Description
Embark on a 2.5-hour adventure starting from a designated meeting point, progressing to our base where participants will be outfitted with necessary gear. Journey through the picturesque Chilina Valley via the Cueva de la Virgen de Chapí, nestled at the base of the majestic Misti Volcano. Following a safety briefing, embark on a one-hour river descent aboard boats accompanied by a knowledgeable guide and a safety kayaker. Conclude the excursion with a refreshing snack before returning to Arequipa.
Itinerary

Rafting on the Chili River, Arequipa City
- We will start our adventure from a previously coordinated meeting point and then move to our base.
- Upon arrival at the base, we will receive the equipment for the activity (wetsuit, neoprene shoes, vest, windbreaker jacket).
- Then, we will head to the Chilina Valley through the Cueva de la Virgen de Chapí, at the foot of the Misti Volcano. Upon arrival, we will have a safety talk about the activity and the correct use of the equipment.
- Afterwards, we will descend the river for 1 hour. The boats have a capacity of four people plus their guide, and a safety kayaker accompanies them.
- At the end of the activity, we will have a snack and then return to the city of Arequipa.
