Adventure to Pillones Waterfalls and Imata Stone Forest
- We will pick you up at your hotel between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. and begin our journey to the Pillones Waterfalls.
- On the way, we will make stops in Pampa de Arrieros and Patahuasi villages, allowing you to enjoy breakfast alone.
- We will arrive at the starting point for a one-hour downhill hike to the famous waterfalls around 10:30 a.m.
- Before our encounter with the Pillones Waterfalls, we will marvel at the numerous rocks sculpted by erosion over time. We will navigate through these intriguing formations until we reach the waterfall, taking precautions on this challenging route.
- Once before the falls, you can capture impressive photographs, delight in the warm weather, and admire the rich regional flora and fauna. Take the opportunity to have fun posing in front of the camera, imitating the various shapes of the surrounding stones, from prehistoric animals to curious faces.
- Do you know the Imata stone forest? After exploring the waterfalls, we will enter this peculiar enclave to discover its unique natural environment.
- Afterwards, we will stop in the village of Imata to enjoy lunch on our own before returning. We expect to arrive at your hotel in Arequipa around 5:00 pm.
