Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Douala

   • Upon arrival at Douala International Airport, our friendly team will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to Hotel Beauséjour 3* or Hotel La Falaise 3*.
   • You will have the opportunity to settle in and relax before enjoying a delicious dinner at the hotel.

2. Day 2: Douala to Dschang

   • Start your day with an early departure from Douala as we embark on an exciting journey through the picturesque Djombe-Penja plain.
   • Marvel at the extensive plantations of bananas, papayas, pineapples, and peppers that stretch as far as the eye can see.
   • Continuing our adventure, we go to the breathtaking Ekon-Nkam Falls, renowned for its natural beauty and connection to the famous film TARZAN, starring Christophe LAMBERT.
   • After this captivating detour, we proceed towards Dschang, passing through the scenic Santchou plain and offering glimpses of coffee and cocoa fields.
   • Upon arrival in Dschang, we will be warmly welcomed and comfortably accommodated at the Dschang Climate Center.

3. Day 3: Exploring Bamenda and Bafut

   • After a rejuvenating night’s sleep, we set off from Dschang to Bamenda, immersing ourselves in the region's rich cultural heritage.
   • Our first stop will be the Museum of Civilizations, where you will have the opportunity to delve into Cameroonian people's origins and explore the country's diverse cultural areas.

   • Our first stop will be the Palace and Museum of the Sultanate, where you will be immersed in the history and craftsmanship of the Bamoun people.
   • Stroll through the artisans’ street, where you can witness the incredible work of woodcarvers, founders, and blacksmiths.
   • Continuing our journey, we make our way to Bandjoun via Bafoussam.
   • Bandjoun is a sight to behold with its high thatched huts and preserved beauty.
   • Explore the chiefdom and museum, gaining insights into the local traditions and cultural treasures.
   • After a day filled with exploration, we will be welcomed and comfortably accommodated at the Bandjoun Climate Center.

6. Day 6: Travel to Yaounde

   • As the sun rises, we bid farewell to Bandjoun and set off on our journey.
   • Our route takes us through Yaoundé, the political capital of Cameroon.
   • Take a moment to explore this vibrant city and soak in its unique atmosphere.
   • After a brief visit, we continue our adventure towards Kribi, where we will arrive in the evening.

   Check-in at the hotel and enjoy a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay at the Résidence Hotel.

7. Day 7: Discovering Kribi

   • Wake up early and savour a delicious breakfast before we embark on an unforgettable experience in Kribi. Arriving in Kribi is a sight as the ocean unveils its pristine, soft white sand beaches, bordered by rows of majestic coconut palms. The Kribi coastline is often called the Cameroonian Riviera, where the equatorial forest meets the ocean.
   • Visit Londji, the most beautiful beach in Cameroon, and let yourself be enchanted by its captivating beauty.

   • In the evening, bid farewell to Kribi as we depart for Douala.
   • Arrive in Douala and complete the necessary boarding formalities.

10. Day 10: Departure to Equatorial Guinea

    • Upon arrival at SSG airport, our representative will warmly welcome you.

11. Day 11: Malabo City Tour

    • After a satisfying breakfast, we embark on a captivating city tour of Malabo.

    • Next, we will explore the presidential palace, surrounded by impressive military installations and personnel.
    • Take in the vibrant atmosphere of the central market, where you will witness the colours and energy of a typical African market.
    • Our tour also includes the City Hall and the architectural wonders of numerous Spanish buildings.
    • After exploring Malabo's old and new parts, we return to the Hotel for a delightful lunch.
    • In the afternoon, we set off on an excursion to the charming village of Ureca, located just south of Malabo.
    • Highlights of this excursion include a visit to the small town, the mesmerizing Eola waterfalls, and a relaxing beach walk along the picturesque Moraka beach.
    • Watch for the incredible sight of marine turtles laying eggs on the beach at night.
    • As the evening approaches, we drive back to Malabo for a restful night's sleep.

12. Day 12: Malabo to Bata - Mainland Exploration

    • After a satisfying breakfast, we bid farewell to Malabo and head to the airport for a morning flight to Bata, the mainland of Equatorial Guinea.
    • A short 20-minute flight brings us to Bata airport, where our local guide will be waiting to transfer you to the Hotel for a delicious lunch.
    • In the afternoon, we embark on a sightseeing tour of Bata, visiting notable landmarks such as the Clock Square, the cathedral, the vibrant and colourful market, the mosque, and the central avenues.
    • If time permits, we may also stroll along the seafront in Bomé, enjoying the refreshing beach atmosphere.
    • After a day of exploration, we return to the comfortable Ibis Hotel for a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay.

13. Day 13: Bata to Mongomo - Cultural Heritage Exploration

    • After a hearty breakfast, we depart from Bata to Mongomo, which takes approximately three hours.
    • As we travel, we immerse ourselves in the picturesque habitats and villages that line the road, offering glimpses of the lush rainforest.
    • Upon arrival in Mongomo, we transfer to the Akoakam Hotel for a satisfying lunch before embarking on an afternoon sightseeing tour.
    • Mongomo is significant culturally because it is the hometown of Equatorial Guinea’s first president and is inhabited by the Fang ethnic tribe.
    • Explore the town’s highlights, including the beautiful stadium that hosted the 2015 African Cup Of Nations, the newly built cathedral resembling St. Paul’s Cathedral in the Vatican, and the national history center featuring the busts of the country’s past leaders.
    • In the afternoon, we leave Mongomo and drive back through the enchanting rainforest, returning to Oyala for an overnight stay at the Djibloho Hotel.

14. Day 14: Oyala Discovery and Return to Bata

    • In the morning, we embark on a fascinating visit to Oyala, a futuristic city set amidst the jungle destined to become Equatorial Guinea's capital.
    • Marvel at the vast construction work transforming this city into a hub of government offices, hotels, supermarkets, and more.
    • Witness the grandeur of the gigantic buildings shaping the nation's future.
    • After exploring Oyala, we depart for Bata in the early afternoon. We make a quick stop at Anisok for a brief visit.
    • From Bata, we catch a domestic flight to Malabo airport, where you will check in for your connecting flight back home.
