Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrive in Caleta María

   • Enjoy free time at the hotel in Ushuaia before heading northwest to Caleta María. Enjoy breathtaking views that combine the Andes mountain range, peat valleys, ñire forests, mountain glaciers, and more. Stop at Paso Garibaldi Viewpoint to appreciate the stunning Escondido and Fagnano lakes.
   • Crossing the Pass, appreciate the ecotone of the transition from the mountain forests in the south to the Fuegian steppe in the north. After 100 km, arrive in Tolhuin to have lunch at the head of Fagnano Lake, and then continue the trip along national route No. 3 for 95 km until you join alternative route B, a point at which you cross the Chilean border to take routes Y-769 and the Y-85. On this path, see more steppe, guanacos and various types of birds, such as cauquenes, bandurrias and petrels, pass through Pampa Guanaco and the natural reserves of Yendegaia and Karukinka until finally arriving at Caleta María. 
   • Arrive in Caleta María with a warm welcome dinner. Here, you are welcomed with a stake lamb, a typical local flavour, and after dinner, spend the night in some rustic cabins located 15 minutes away. The place is located near Fagnano Lake, where the peace and silence of the Fuegian forest create a magical environment. Rest in our cosy cabins.

2. Day 2: Reach the Chilean fjords

   • Wake up to the sound of nature and savour a delicious breakfast.
   • Head to Caleta María for a full-day excursion sailing the Seno Almirantazgo until we reach the Chilean fjords of Bahía Parry and the glaciers located at the foot of the Darwin Mountain Range. See elephant seals, albatrosses, and rockhopper penguins if luck favours. Lunch is included.
   • Return to the resting place for a comforting dinner and a quiet night in the cabins.

3. Day 3: Return to Ushuaia

   • Enjoy the last breakfast in the tranquillity of the cabins before returning to Ushuaia, concluding this unforgettable adventure.
