Atlas Mountain Hike
- At 8:30 in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech. After that, we journey to Atlas Mountain, located near Marrakech.
- We will reach Imlil Valley at Atlas Mountain and begin our hike.
- The path meanders ascent from Imlil 1740m, gradually moving further away from the valley floor, allowing lovely views of the Berber villages of Mezzik and Arhene and their green fields on the north side of the valley, plus Tizi n'Tamatert back on the far side (east) of the Imlil Valley, while Tizi Mezzik comes clearly into view, ahead.
- The path then counties along the north bank of the valley, rising through dispersed juniper trees. The ascent is gentle, only steepening as the Tizi Mezzik pass 2490m approaches. After a break with orange juice or tea, we'll continue ascending to reach the Mount of Tasserimout 2640m and enjoy stunning views of the Imlil and Azzaden valleys.
- After a break of 15 minutes, we'll descend back to Tizi Mezzik for delicious lunch, then back to Imlil, driving back to Marrakech.
