Private Daytrip To Wicklow
- You will be picked up by your personal driver from any Dublin location and will be driven south towards Wicklow.
- Your first stop will be Glendalough, famous for the early medieval monastic settlement founded by St Kevin in the 6th century. Glendalough, meaning in Gaelic "valley of two lakes", has stunning views and is very popular for picnics, walks and rock climbing.
- Enjoy a stroll along the many trails around the two lakes or one that leads up to Poolanass waterfall. When finished in Glendalough, you will be driven back north through the winding mountain roads to Powerscourt house and gardens. Enjoy yourself in this 47-acre, beautifully manicured garden, voted 3rd best garden in the world by National Geographic.
- Experience the grandeur of the magnificent mansion house. This attraction gets approximately half a million visitors a year and is truly a wonderful place to see.
- Once done here, you will head northwest across the windy mountain roads en route for lunch in the highest pub in Ireland . Steeped in history and with award-winning seafood, you will surely enjoy a nice meal after a long day.
- Once finished here, you will be driven back down the mountain roads back into Dublin city, and on a clear day, you will have a magnificent view out to Dublin Bay.
