Description
Marvel at scenic nature view inside the Tambopata National Reserve, one of the last and most pristine Peruvian rain forest areas. Do a canoe ride on the Oxbow Lake wherein and catch sight of giant otters, wild boars, macaws, parrots and many more.
Itinerary

Day 1- Puerto Maldonado
Be picked up by a Peruvian tour guide after landing in Puerto Maldonado town.
Head off to a place (office) to repack and sort out only the necessary things to take to the lodge (long pants, long sleeves, torches and mosquito protection).
Proceed on a one hour ride on the boat where lunch will be provided. Then, do a one and half hour boat ride to the lodge with chances to spot some wildlife on the way.
Arrive at the lodge and get up to the bungalow (room) to rest till the first activity (night walk).
For the night walk, explore and enjoy the jungle sights at night and all their beauty.
Have dinner.

Day 2- Oxbow lake
Hike through the primary forest for two hours and a half, and have the chance to see many medicinal plants and species of monkeys, birds, reptiles, amphibians and other mammals.
Arrive at Oxbow lake and board a canoe, move through the water and see giant otters, wild boars, varieties of nice-looking birds.
Have a picnic lunch in the forest facing the lake, piranha fishing and at the end of the day return to the lodge.
Enjoy a free afternoon to relax in the hammocks in front of the river and to watch the sunset.
Do a Cayman search activity in the main river (alligator-like reptiles).
Dinner.

Day 3- Macaw clay lick tour
Wake up very early at 3:30 am to undertake a 2-hour boat ride up the river to visit one of the unique places in Tambopata National Reserve, the Chuncho Macaw Clay Lick. Here, hundreds of birds from the Psittacidae family, including macaws, parrots, parakeets, congregate to lick clay from the bank of the river. Have the chance to see them very close to take pictures and videos.
Have breakfast in the area.
Enjoy such a majestic and amazing place, head back to the lodge with another chance to search for jaguars along the river bank with a Peruvian tour guide.
Take lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon, go on a small stroll in the forest to see the majestic kapok tree (over 200 hundreds years old tree) and do a local farm visit.
Dinner at the lodge.

Day 4- Departure
According to flight time, breakfast will be arranged.
Take a boat and bus ride back to town (office) and then to the airport.
