Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Victoria Falls

   • On arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport and/or Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport, you will be met by our driver and guide, who will assist you through airport procedures to assemble your travelling bags.

   • Depart for Ilala Lodge for your two-night stay. Check in and freshen up.

   • Depart for Victoria Falls full-day experience tour.

   • Late afternoon, depart for a Dinner Cruise on the Zambezi River.

   • Return to the lodge, dinner, showers, and overnight.

2. Day 2: Still At Splendid Victoria Falls

   • After breakfast, Chobe Full Day Safari Trip
   • Return to the lodge, freshen up, and
   • Depart for a Night Open Safari Game Drive and Bush Dinner

3. Day 3: Victoria Falls to Savute Game Reserve

   • Enjoy breakfast, depart with your guide, and transfer to the Kazungula Border, where you will enter Botswana. You then continue to the Kasane Airport for your short shuttle or domestic flight to Savute.
   • Upon arrival at the airstrip in the Savute area, you are transported to Savute Safari Lodge, where you will check-in, freshen up, and have lunch.
   • Depart for a boat or Mokoro (canoe) safari in the famous Savute Marsh.
   • Return to the lodge for dinner and
   • Depart for a Night Safari Drive.

4. Day 4-5: Savute Game Reserve

   • Early Morning Safari Guided walk with the host and other experienced field guides.
   • Return to the lodge, showers, and then Safari Breakfast.
   • Depart by boat or safari game drive with snacks and lunch packs for the famous Savute Marsh for your chance to see the historic presence of the Savute Channel at the marsh against a teeming backdrop of wildlife.
   • Enjoy visiting the ancient San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills, a small hilly outcrop that forms a remarkable landmark in the otherwise flat landscape.
   • Return to the lodge, freshen up and/or shower.
   • Depart for a Sunset Safari Game Drive + Safari Dinner.

5. Day 6: Savute Game Reserve - Okavango Delta

   • Early Morning Safari Game Drive.
   • Return to the lodge, shower, and then Safari Breakfast. Enjoy your final morning at Savute.
   • Check out and depart for the airstrip, boarding our short shuttle flight, and head further into the wilderness to your lodge in the Okavango Delta.
   • Upon arrival at the airstrip in the Okavango Delta, be collected and transported to Xugana Island Lodge for a three-night stay. Check in, view the vicinity and then have lunch.
   • After lunch, depart for an Okavango Delta boat cruise and return to the lodge.
   • Depart for an afternoon watery wilderness walking trail with experienced field guides and the host.
   • Return to the lodge, freshen up, have supper, and depart for a night Safari Delta Game Drive.
   • Return to the lodge, shower, have a light dinner, relax at the bar, and overnight.

6. Day 7 & 8: Okavango Delta

   • Early Morning Safari Guided walk with the host and other experienced field guides.
   • Return to the lodge, showers, and then Safari Breakfast.
   • Depart for a one-hour helicopter scenic flight - soar over pools and lagoons of the majestic Okavango Delta.
   • Return to the lodge and depart for a delta boat cruise.
   • Safari sunset game drive + Bush Dinner.

7. Day 9: Okavango Delta to Moremi Game Reserve

   • After breakfast, check out and say goodbye to Camp Xugana. Depart for the airstrip for your flight to Moremi Camp at Moremi Game Reserve. (Moremi Game Reserve is situated in the central and eastern areas of the Okavango Delta and includes permanent dry land such as Chief’s Island and the peninsula known as Mopane Tongue. This means that dry woodland and savannah areas lie next to picturesque floodplains and lagoons. This makes for spectacular game viewing and bird watching.)
   • Check-in at Moremi Game Reserve and view the vicinity.
   • Lunch and depart for a Mokoro day trip.
   • Return to the lodge and depart for a Sunset Safari Game Drive.
   • Return to the lodge, shower, dinner, and relax at the bar and lodge.

8. Day 10: Moremi Game Reserve

   • Enjoy your last two nights on safari in this wildlife paradise. Game activities include a choice of morning and afternoon game drives throughout the many ecosystems the Moremi Game Reserve offers.

   • Early Morning Safari Guide Walk.

   • Return to the Lodge, freshen up, and have breakfast.

   • After breakfast, depart for a day boat cruise with lunch packs, drinks, and snacks.

   • Return to the Lodge and relax for a few hours (self-time/leisure).

   • Supper and

   • Depart for a night open safari game drive.

   • Return to the Lodge and overnight.

9. Day 11: Moremi Game Reserve to Johannesburg

   • Depart for an early Morning Safari Game Drive in search of crepuscular animals.

   • Return to the lodge, freshen up, and have breakfast.

   • After breakfast, check out and goodbyes. This morning, you bid farewell to Botswana or the SADC Region. You are transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Maun.

   • Upon arrival at Maun airport, you check in for your flight to Johannesburg.

   • Goodbyes with your host guide, and fly back home.
