Itinerary

Day 1- Sigiriya
Pick up from Kalutara, Wadduwa or Negombo and transfer to Dambulla.
Visit the Dambulla Rock Temple, one of the most impressive Sri Lanka's Cave Temples.
Overnight Accommodation in Sigiriya Village (D).

Day 2- Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya
Go to Polonnaruwa, the ruined city filled with statues, monuments and temples.
Climb the 5th-century Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a citadel of unusual beauty rising just about 200m from the jungle. Enjoy the view from the top to see the wonderful countryside surrounding it.

Day 3- Sigiriya to Kandy
Explore the wonderful city of Kandy and get a chance to visit the famous spice gardens on the way.
Walk through the historic Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, a gem museum and the famous Temple of the Tooth Relic.
Then get a chance to enjoy a cultural show in the evening.
Overnight Accommodation in Amaya Hills (B, D).

Day 4- Departure
Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a conservation and education centre started in 1975 for orphaned elephants.
Transfer back to the chosen hotel (B).
