Itinerary

Day 1- Arrival at Tehran
- Arrive in Tehran, meet the private tour guide and proceed towards the hotel.
Sightsee in Tehran or go deep into Iranian meetup and gathering areas and enjoy having a nice tea.
Overnight stay in Tehran.

Day 2- Fly to Ahvaz
Fly to Ahwaz and drive to Shooshtar to visit the Shushtar Historic watermills, which are now registered as a UNESCO heritage site.
Sleep in an old Persian house, which was modified as a tourist lodge.

Day 3- Ziggurat and Susa
Full day excursion to Ziggurat of the Choqa Zanbil. It dates back to 1250 B.C.
Visit Haft Tappeh Museum in Susa to visit the remains of Achaemenian Palaces.
Visit the tomb of Daniel the prophet.
Drive back to Shooshtar and spend overnight.

Day 4- Drive to Shiraz
- Drive to Shiraz, after early morning breakfast.
En-route, stop to visit Bishapur to see the remains of an ancient Sassanid city built by Shapur 1st.
Then go to Tang-e-Chogan, which are rock carvings detailing Shapur's Victories over the Roman empire.
Overnight stay in Shiraz.

Day 5- Explore Shiraz, the Cultural capital of Iran
Take a tour of some attractions in the cultural capital of Iran, Shiraz, and walk through the main walking street.
Visit Karimkhan Citadel with a tilting brick tower.
On the way to the Vakil complex, visit the Pars museum. It was founded in 1936 under Reza Shah Pahlavi. It is located in Nazar Garden.
Explore beauties of Zand architecture, including the amazing Vakil Mosque and attractive bazaar with tantalizing handicrafts and artwork.
Meet Iranians in Hafez tomb reciting their poems.

Day 6- Visit Persepolis
Drive to Persepolis and Necropolis (Naghshe Rostam) and unearth the ruins of Persepolis, a world heritage.
Stay overnight in a beautiful old Persian house and enjoy gazing at the stars.

Day 7- Drive to Yazd
On the way to Yazd, stop in Abarkooh to visit a 4,000-year-old Cypress Tree.

Day 8- Yazd Sightseeing
Explore Yazd, Marco-polo's favorite city and a city known as the bride of the desert, walk through narrow turning allies and visit the magnificent entrance of Jame Mosque with its tall minarets and amazing ceramic work.
Later visit the atmospheric Alexander prison and enjoy the tea house.
Marvel at the breath-taking Amirchakhmagh Complex with its impressive construction.
Overnight stay in Yazd.

Day 9- Drive to Isfahan
On the way to Isfahan, explore the Narin Castle in Naein.
See the 33 Bridge and Khajoo Bridge after checking in to the hotel in Isfahan.

Day 10- Isfahan Sightseeing
Marvel at Meydan-e-Naghshe Jahan, an amazing royal square.
Observe the Imam Mosque and its perplexing features.
Embark on the impressive tile work at Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque and the paintings and the music room at Aliqapoo palace.

Day 11- Isfahan Sightseeing
Visit Vank Church, also known as the Church of the Saintly Sisters. It is a cathedral located in the New Julfa.
Explore the Vibrating Minaret. Its notable feature is that if one of the minarets is shaken, the other minaret will shake as well.
Marvel at the ruins of Zoroastrian Fire Temple.

Day 12- Early morning Drive to Matinabad Desert Camp
Enjoy desert sunset, sunrise and sand dunes.
Enjoy star gazing and a night campfire. Visit Natanz, on the way.

Day 13- Drive to Kashan
Visit Abyaneh, a village near Kashan at the foot of Karkass Mountain characterized by its reddish hue of clay. In this village, the Iranian ancient style of living, civilization, and culture is still evident.
Learn the Pahlavi language, spoken by the literate people of Abyaneh.
Try traditional Iranian cuisine.
Visit an underground secret city, which was recently discovered.

Day 14- Kashan sightseeing
Get an insight into Iranian traditional houses by visiting Tabatabai and Boroojerdiha houses.
Stroll in Fin Gardens of Kashan.
Taste Iranian food at the cooking class hosted by a local family.
Depending on the time of the flight, drive to Tehran/Imam Khomeini Airport.
