Itinerary

1. Day 1- Maumere (Flores) - Moni (L)

   • Arrival in by morning flight to Maumere Airport, meet with the guide and if time permits go for sightseeing.

   • Visit Wuring fishermen village in Sikka. It is the traditional village of the Sikka clan.

   • Stop by the Ledalero Museum to see the ancient heritage and sites including the old Flores ruins.

   • Drive to Moni & lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

   Overnight at the hotel.

2. Day 2- Moni - Ende – Riung (B, L)

   • An early morning drive up to Kelimutu, see the three coloured lakes. Upon arrival walk 1. 5 km to view the spectacle of the Hard Red, light blue and black colour of the Kelimutu lake.

   • Proceed to Jopu Ranggase to see the local traditional house with its ancient structure.

   • Drive to Nggela to see the local women at their hand weaving work.

   • Head to the west part through Ende with some stopovers.

   Upon arrival in Riung, check-in at the hotel and resting.

3. Day 3- Riung

   • Early morning departure from Bajawa to Riung.

   • Stop at Soa hot spring for swimming and breakfast.

   • Continue trip to Riung, check in at Pondok SVD or Bintang Wisata.

   • Take a boat trip to the pier of Riung and visit the Riung marine park.

   • Sail to Ontoloe Island to see the flying fox.

   • Snorkel at Rutong Beach. 

   • Explore the Riung Marine Park, swim and relax on Rutong island.

   • Go back to Riung in the afternoon and have lunch.

4. Day 4- Riung – Bajawa (B, L)

   • After breakfast, enjoy the beauty of underwater exploration on the small islands in the north of Flores.

   • In the afternoon, return to Riung Mainland and proceed to Bajawa & overnight.

5. Day 5- Bajawa - Bena - Bajawa – Ruteng (B, L)

   • Drive to Bena through the beautiful and picturesque areas of Bajawa. View the beauty of the semi-active volcano Gunung Lya and Inerie. Bena is located at the hill of Inerie surrounded by a huge and gigantic bamboo plantation.

   • Arrive in Bena, see traditional houses and megalithic tombs, learn the meaning of Ngadhu and Bhaga, symbolizing male and female of ancestral spirits.

   • Return to Bajawa for lunch at a local restaurant.

   • Continue the trip, en-route viewing the beauty of Mount Inerie, and then Rana Mese Lake.

   • See the process of making palm wine at Aimere.

   Overnight stay at the hotel.

6. Day 6- Ruteng - Labuan Bajo – Komodo (B, L, D)

   • Trek half-day trek to Mount Ranaka, a volcano located in Manggarai Regency. During the active condition, instead of trekking, the program can be replaced by visiting the local market, Ruteng Pu traditional village, then Cancar and Lembor irrigation area.

   • Visit Labuan Bajo, direct to the harbour to board a wooden boat leaving for Komodo island and then arrive at Komodo port.

   Overnight on board.

7. Day 7- Komodo Island - Rinca (B, L, D)

   • Start the exploration of the Komodo island by half an hour walk to Banunggulung to see the Komodo dragons, the largest monitor lizards in the world, in their natural habitat. The island is also home to the mound-building megapode bird, the sulphur-crested cockatoo, the noisy friarbird and tropical flora.

   • Return to the harbour for sailing back to Labuan Bajo with lunch on board.

   • Stop at Pink Beach to relax, swim and snorkel.

   • Move to Rinca island, while enjoying the stunning sunset down the ocean. 

   Dinner and overnight on board.

8. Day 8- Rinca – Komodo island - Red Beach

   • Early morning, start from Rinca to Komodo Island.

   • Trek on a short path through the typical dry forest to explore the Island of Komodo dragon. Find many wild animals like Timor deers, wild boars and numerous birds such as megapodes, yellow-crested cockatoos, imperial pigeons, white-breasted sea eagles and maleos.

   • Ride the boat to Red Beach for swimming and snorkelling in an unspoilt coral reef amongst colourful tropical fish.

   Lunch on board and go back to Labuan Bajo in the afternoon for an overnight stay.

9. Day 9- Labuan Bajo - Bali or next destination (B)

   • Visit the Batu Cermin, also called Mirror Rock, which is actually a tunnel or cave in the dark stone hills of Labuan Bajo.

   Transfer to the airport for departure to Bali or the next destination.

   End of service.
