Itinerary

Day 1- Arrival in Djerba
Arrive at the airport in either Djerba or Tozeur. Transfer to Douz.
After a visit to the market, depart on camels (Meharees) to Ghout Elkawaris, where you will spend the night.

Day 2- Ommak Hinda
Go to Ommak Hinda, a former Beduin village situated among palm tree groves, with a Tunisian tour guide.
Settle and dream the night away underneath the moon and the starry sky in the desert.

Day 3- Boujwahif
Go on a caravan to Boujwahif.
- Have dinner and do camping.

Day 4- Sidi Marzoug
Travel on the backs of the Meharees or by foot to Sidi Marzoug, and spend a lovely day here.

Day 5- Abandoned Village - Marabu Town
Continue to an abandoned village whose buildings are covered halfway by sand.
Visit the Tomb of Marabu (a holy man who is worshipped by the nomads) and then, rest at Bir Elgar.

Day 6- Douz
Return by 4x4s to Douz in the afternoon.
- Transfer to the airport of Djerba or Tozeur.
