Description
Start with a cable car trip up the iconic Table Mountain and enjoy a 500m walk on the top. Drive along the scenic Boyes Drive, stopping for a photo opportunity at the Shark Spotters. From here you will see False Bay and Surfers Corner. Our next stop will be in the costal town, Kalk Bay. Our drive continues along the Cape Peninsula until we reach Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, with its rich biodiversity. We could encounter a range of wildlife, from antelopes, baboons, ostrich and zebra. Our stop will be at Cape Point for a walk up to the lighthouse with its incredible views over the region or make use of the funicular. Then a 45min hike to the Cape of Good Hope. After the obligatory photo at the sign boards, we head for the spectacle of African penguins at Boulders Beach, Simonstown. Our drive back to Cape Town will be along the iconic Chapman’s Peak drive.
Itinerary

Table Mountain, Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point, Penguin Colony
- You will meet your guide at your accommodation in the CBD or at the Two Oceans Aquarium, V&A
- From there, you will travel to Table Mountain for a trip up the cable car to the summit
- 500 metre walk on the top before descending back down via the cable car
- Continuing to the Shark Spotters on Boyes Drive for an iconic view over False Bay, Surfers Corner, Muizenberg
- Our next destination is Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point. This 7750-hectare area is home to various wildlife, such as antelopes, baboons, Cape mountain zebras, ostriches and many species of birds. Moreover, you will encounter some of the most stunning and unspoilt beaches along Cape Town’s coast.
- You have an opportunity to do a 45 min hike from Cape Point to Cape of Good Hope
- Your next destination is Boulders Beach in Simon’s Town, where you will encounter a colony of African penguins.
- Finally, you will return to the city via Chapmans Peak drive
