Visit Teatro Real, a major opera house located in Madrid.
Stroll through Plaza de Oriente, a square in the historic center of Madrid, Spain. Rectangular in shape and monumental in character, it was designed in 1844 by Narciso Pascual Colomer. The square was propagated by King Joseph I, who ordered the demolition of the medieval houses on the site.
Go to Palacio Real, the Spanish royal family's official residence at the city of Madrid, although now used only for state ceremonies.
Proceed to Almudena Cathedral is a Catholic church in Madrid, Spain. It is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Madrid. Pope John Paul II consecrated the cathedral in 1993.
Walk around Museo del Prado, the main Spanish national art museum located in central Madrid.

Move to Puerta de Alcalá, a Neo-classical gate in the Plaza de la Independencia in Madrid, Spain. It was a gate of the former Walls of Philip IV. It stands near the city center and several meters away from the Parque del Buen Retiro's main entrance.
