Itinerary

1. Day 1: Cuiabá Airport - UeSo Pantanal Lodge

   After collecting your luggage at the airport, our transfer companion will be waiting for you at the exit with a UeSo Lodge sign. From there, we embark on an approximately 100 km journey to Poconé, followed by another 38 km on the famous Transpantaneira, where you might already spot various wildlife such as caimans, capybaras, and possibly jabiru storks, along with many other birds.
   Upon check-in at the lodge, you can enjoy a buffet depending on your arrival time. Please note that if you arrive in Cuiabá after 11:30 am, lunch will not be served, and if you arrive after 5:30 pm, dinner will not be available; we can provide a small evening snack instead. After the lunch buffet, there's time for a siesta, followed by a guided walking tour to spot wildlife. If anyone in your group wishes, they can take a bag of feed (corn/salt) and distribute it on the forest trail. Upon request, we also offer a nighttime safari on foot to discover nocturnal animals. Don't forget to bring your flashlight.

2. Day 2: UeSo Pantanal Lodge

   In the early morning, around 5:00 am, before breakfast is served, we set off on our sunrise walking observation tour. You can start the day with a cup of coffee or tea and witness the impressive awakening of the Pantanal—a natural spectacle that will captivate you.

   After breakfast, a horseback riding tour with our mules or horses is on the agenda, the traditional means of transportation for the Pantaneiros. This activity is suitable even for individuals with no riding experience. You can even participate in saddling and unsaddling your mule and actively engage in the process. We provide mandatory riding helmets. After a lunch break, you will enjoy a boat trip to the nearby Rio Novo or Rio Claro. We intentionally rely on the guides' muscle power instead of motors, and you are welcome to paddle along if you wish. This quiet approach avoids the noise of engines, which can scare away shy birds. With a bit of luck, you might encounter a family of giant otters, numerous birds, and perhaps even some mammals, including the tapir. Of course, a life jacket is included to ensure your safety.

3. Day 3: UeSo Pantanal Lodge - Cuiabá Airport

   After the breakfast buffet at the UeSo Pantanal, we will arrange your transfer to the airport for your return flight. If your flight is in the afternoon, you can use the morning for an additional walking or boat trip excursion to further explore the beauty of the Pantanal and observe the wildlife. After this additional experience, the transfer to the airport will take place after lunch, allowing you to make the most of your Pantanal stay before bidding farewell to this unique natural paradise.
