Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

   • Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will be picked up by a driver and driven to Arusha. From there, you will ascend to Tarangire National Park.
   • Upon arrival at Tarangire National Park, you'll be immersed in a world of incredible biodiversity and natural beauty. The park is home to vast herds of elephants, as well as a wide variety of other wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and more.
   • During a game drive through the park, you can witness these animals in their natural habitats and learn about their behaviours and ecology from your knowledgeable guide.
   • The park is also home to many bird species, making it a must-visit destination for birdwatchers.
   • After enjoying a game drive in the park, you will have dinner at Tarangire National Park.

2. Day 2: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater - Return to Zanzibar

   • Early in the morning, after having breakfast, you will depart for Ngorongoro Crater for a 5-hour park ride.
   • Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you'll descend into the crater itself, a vast natural amphitheatre that is home to an incredible array of wildlife.
   • The crater is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in Africa, and it is home to iconic species such as lions, leopards, elephants, and rhinos, as well as a variety of antelopes, gazelles, and other herbivores.
   • During a game drive through the crater, your experienced guide will help you spot and identify the animals you encounter, sharing fascinating insights into the crater's ecology and history.
   • You'll also have the opportunity to learn about the Maasai people, who have lived in the area for centuries and maintain a close relationship with the natural environment.
   • After a full day of exploring the wonders of the Ngorongoro Crater, you'll return to your lodge, where a driver will pick you up and drive you back to the airport.
   • Overnight at Arusha or Zanzibar.
