Description
On this Tanzania safari with ATW Holidays Africa, you will explore the famous northern tourism circuit, which is the most visited region because of its rollercoaster wildlife reserves with international status. You will explore two UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will descend to the crater floor, and the Serengeti National Park, known for its endless plains, which shelter various wildlife, including the great migration. You will also participate in game drives in Lake Manyara National Park, and on this safari, expect to see the African Big Five.

Day 1: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Approx.3hours)
Today after breakfast, you will be picked by the guide from the lodge/hotel in Arusha then embark on the drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation area, when you arrive here, you will check in at the camp then later go for a game drive and explore this jewel of a UNESCO site. Later return to the lodge where you will have dinner and overnight. Overnight: Ngorongoro Sopa lodge Meal Plan: Lunch & Dinner

Day 2: Explore the Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, today you will descend over 600 meters to the crater floor for a half day crater tour. You will explore the forest fringed areas that are inhabited by various wildlife species like monkeys and elephants, explore the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt their prey. Have a picnic lunch set up at the crater area and afterwards, you transfer to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Day 3: Wildlife Experience in Serengeti National Park
Have a hearty breakfast at the lodge then go for a morning game drive and browse the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. Return to your lodge for lunch, then depart to Lake Manyara. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Overnight: Serengeti Sopa lodge Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 4: Wildlife experience in Lake Manyara & Transfer to Arusha (Approx. 2 hours)
After an early breakfast, you will depart for a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree-climbing lions, flamingos and other varieties of birdlife. The drive will last about two hours and in mid-morning, drive back to Arusha. Lunch at a restaurant in Arusha town.
