   • Chapman's Peak Drive

     • Chapman's Peak is a mountain on the western side of the Cape Peninsula, located between Hout Bay and Noordhoek in Cape Town. The top of Chapman's Peak consists of flat, sedimentary rocks similar to those found on Table Mountain. However, the base of the mountain is made of Cape Granite, and the two formations meet at a world-famous geological unconformity, which is of great interest to earth scientists.
