Itinerary

1. Day 1: Tarangire National Park

   • 8:00 AM: Safari starts from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi and drives to Tarangire National Park.
   • Game drive in the park, known for its diverse wildlife including elephants, wildebeests, zebras, and baobab trees.
   • Picnic lunch at the Tarangire picnic site.
   • Drive to the Karatu area for dinner and overnight at Kudu Lodge or similar. (FB)

2. Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

   • Depart to Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic lunch. The park is known for its ground-water forest, marang forest, hot springs, and soda lake inhabited by flamingos and waterbirds.
   • Picnic lunch at the Manyara picnic site.
   • Drive to the Karatu area for dinner and overnight at Kudu Lodge or similar. (FB)

3. Day 3: Serengeti Central

   • Depart for Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch. Brief stop at Maasai Boma. Serengeti is the oldest national park and a world heritage site known for its annual migration and diverse wildlife.
   • Continue with a game drive in central Serengeti.

   Dinner and Overnight: Shuhudia Adventure Tented Camp or similar. (FB)

4. Day 4: North Serengeti

   • Early morning balloon ride or early morning game drive.
   • Return to the camp for breakfast.
   • Drive towards the northern part of Serengeti with an afternoon game drive.

   Dinner and Overnight: Serengeti African View Tented Camp or similar. (FB)

5. Day 5: Northern Serengeti

   • Morning game drive near Mara river to witness wildebeest crossing.
   • Lunch: At camp/lodge or picnic lunch.
   • An afternoon game drive to witness more wildebeest crossing.

   Dinner and Overnight: Serengeti African View Tented Camp or similar. (FB)

6. Day 6: Central Serengeti

   • Depart to central Serengeti with game drive en route.
   • Picnic lunch at a designated site.

   Dinner and Overnight: Shuhudia Adventure Tented Camp or similar. (FB)

7. Day 7: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

   • Early morning game drive in Serengeti.
   • Return to camp for breakfast and depart to the Ngorongoro conservation area.
   • Brief stop at Olduvai Gorge.
   • Picnic Lunch: On the way.

   Dinner and Overnight: Ngorongoro Tortilis Tented Camp or similar. (FB)

8. Day 8: Crater

   • Descend into the crater for a half-day crater-floor tour. Ngorongoro Crater is a stunning natural wonder and home to various animals.
   • Picnic lunch on the crater floor.
   • Drive to Arusha for overnight or drop off at Kilimanjaro Airport.
