Day 1: Tarangire National Park
In the morning, you'll take a flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, where we'll be present to welcome you. From there, we'll drive you to Tarangire National Park for around 2 hours. Get ready to immerse yourself in the wonders of wildlife! Our accommodation for the night will be at Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge. Covering an expansive area of nearly 3,000 square kilometers, Tarangire National Park is most renowned for its abundant elephant population and iconic baobab trees. The park derives its name from the Tarangire River that flows through its landscape. The dry season (June - November) is an especially remarkable time to visit, as the concentration of wildlife matches that of the Serengeti. The Tarangire River becomes a magnet for many elephants and other creatures, their vital water source. Boasting diverse habitats and a consistent water supply from the Tarangire River, the park provides a habitat for over 2,000 elephants and 500 species of birds.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
Following your breakfast, we'll begin descending into the crater for an exciting game tour. Later, you'll be driven back to Karatu, where you'll spend the night at Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge. Referred to as the eighth marvel of the natural world, the Ngorongoro Crater stands as the largest unbroken crater globally, formed through volcanic activity around 2 million years ago. The eruption of the Ngorongoro volcano led to the collapse of its walls, resulting in the sunken volcano floor that naturally enclosed the area with its towering walls, reaching a height of 600 meters. Presently, spanning over 19 kilometers in width, the Ngorongoro Crater is a diverse expanse that encompasses expansive acacia forests, marshes teeming with hippos, and open grasslands. These distinct ecosystems provide a habitat for more than 30,000 animals, including elephants, warthogs, vibrant flamingoes, rare black rhinoceroses, and the entire spectrum of predatory felines. Amidst this, you can observe the Maasai tending to their cattle alongside buffalo and wildebeest herds.
