Itinerary

1. Day 1: Airport Pickup and Hotel Check-In

   • Airport pickup and transfer to the hotel for check-in.
   • Introduction and dinner.

2. Day 2: Exploring Accra

   • Start the day in Accra, getting acquainted with Ghana.
   • Visit the Kwame Nkrumah monument, Independence Square, Oxford Street in Osu, James Town, and enjoy some time at the beach.

3. Day 3: Journey to the Northern Region

   • Breakfast at the hotel.
   • Travel to the Northern region, either by a 12-hour bus trip or a 1-hour flight.

4. Day 4: Cultural Experiences in the Northern Region

   • Begin the morning tour with an air-conditioned car.
   • Visit a local pot moulding woman and have the opportunity to mould your pot (upon request).
   • Explore local basket weaving and try your hand at weaving your basket.
   • Witness the shea butter processing by local women.
   • Visit the Red Clay art museum and the local market.

5. Day 5: Wechiau Hippo Sanctuary and Mole National Park

   • Breakfast at the hotel.
   • Head to Wechiau and visit the Hippo Sanctuary.
   • Return to Mole National Park and spend the night.

6. Day 6: Safari Walk, Ancient Mosque, and Monkey Sanctuary

   • Engage in a morning safari walk or jeep tour to observe wildlife.
   • Visit the ancient mud-and-stick mosque at Larabanga.
   • Explore the central forests and enjoy watching monkeys at the Boabeng-Fiema Monkey Sanctuary.
   • Optional night hangout.

7. Day 7: Return to Accra and Departure

   • Head back to Accra.
   • Say goodbye and depart.
