Description
Visit the Phong Nha Cave and have a chance to explore the remains of Cham altars and inscriptions inside the cave. These caves are listed as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site and were used by the Cham people as Buddhist Sanctuaries in the 9th and 10th centuries.
Itinerary

Phong Nha Cave
- Travel from Hue for 3 hours to Phong Nha Cave.
- On the way, stop to visit some of the most famous battlefields of the Vietnam War: Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge; lying in the Demilitarized Zone of the Vietnam War.
- Have lunch at a local restaurant.
- Get on a boat and cruise along the river to Phong Nha Cave. The deeper one penetrates, the more magical are the natural aspects of the caves.
- After being on the boat for 700m, the large dry passage appears, where one can walk to discover the cave for 500m more.
- Grab the chance to explore the remain of Cham Altars and inscriptions inside.
- Return to Hue in the late afternoon and arrive at 8 pm.
