Description
Go on a full-day tour and visit the important religious sites around the Jordan Valley. Head to Bethany beyond Jordan, where Jesus Christ was baptized. Go to Mt Nebo, the burial site of Prophet Moses. Move to Madaba to see the St George Church with the mosaic map of the Holy Land. Stop by Machearus, where John the Baptist was imprisoned and beheaded.

Jordon Valley Tour
Drive to the Jordan Valley towards Bethany at the Jordan River. This is the place where the baptism of Jesus Christ by John the Baptist took place.
Have a look at Elijah's Hill, where Prophet Elijah ascended to heaven.
Proceed to Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the Promised Land before he died.
Visit the old monastery overlooking the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and parts of the Holy Land.
Later, move towards Madaba to find the famous mosaic 6th-century map of Palestine in St. George’s church.
Continue to Machaerus, the hilltop stronghold of Herod the Great, King of Judea. His son Herod Antipas inherited the fortress. He ordered the beheading of John the Baptist after Salome's fateful dance in this site. Walk around for 30 minutes to reach the top of the hill.
Transfer to the Amman hotel or residence.
