Itinerary
-
Day 1 : Amman Airport to Madaba
Meet the tour representative at Amman Airport before customs.
Drive directly to Madaba, and find the famous mosaic, a 6th-century map of Palestine in St. George’s church.
Take a short ride to Mount Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the promised land before he died.
Proceed to the Dead Sea with the Jordan tour guide. With 400 meters below sea level, the lake is the lowest point on earth.
Have free time to float on salty waters.
Continue driving to Petra for check-in and overnight stay.

Day 2 : Petra to Amman Airport
Explore the splendid red rose city of Petra, established around the 6th century BC by the Nabataean Arabs. It was a major caravan centre during the Hellenistic and Roman period. With the Petra guide, pass the narrow gorge, the so-called Siq, rewarded by a glimpse of the most beautiful monument, the Treasury, known also as Al Khazneh.
Pass through the Street of Facades, and see more of the great architecture, mostly carved in the coloured sandstone, the Urn, the Silk Tomb, the Theatre and the Grand Temple.
Say farewell to the guides at the restaurant area.
Transfer to Amman Airport.
