Itinerary

1. Day 1: Marangu Gate - Mandara Hut

   Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will be picked up by a driver and drive to Marangu gate on the eastern side of Kilimanjaro; after arrival at the park gate, a guide will do the necessary registration after complect the registration at the park; you will start to ascent to Mandara where you will hike through the forest, here you will be surrendered by eucalyptus trees, species of bird, colobus monkey, blue monkey, and many exciting things to view by the hiker, you will stop halfway for lunch and continue hiking to Mandara. After a short tour of Mandara, you will spend a night at Mandara hut.

2. Day 2: Mandara Hut - Horombo Hut

   After breakfast at Mandara Hut, you will continue hiking through Amanda Crater. Reaching the crater takes about 15-20 minutes; this area is suitable for viewing Kenya and northern Tanzania. A climber will enjoy seeing the Amanda crater and taking a picture of the crater; after viewing the Amanda crater, you will start the descent. However, on the same trail to Marangu gate, a Kitano tour and safari driver will pick you up at the gate and drive back to your hotel at Moshi.

3. Day 3: Horombo Hut - Park Gate - Moshi/ Arusha

   After breakfast at horombo hut, you will descend through the moorland to Mandara hut. It takes almost 20km to reach Mandara hut; you will continue descending through a lush forest path to the national park at Marangu gate; after arriving at Marangu gate, you will be picked up by a driver and drive you back to your hotel in Moshi/Arusha.
