Itinerary

1. DAY 01: ARUSHA – NORTHERN SERENGETI (FLY IN)

   • Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel by Kitano tour and safari guide, and you will drive to Arusha airport for a flight to north Serengeti. After arrival in Serengeti, you will proceed with the game drive in the wilderness tracking the great migration trail. The wildebeest migration is normally found in the wagakuria area from mid-July- October, it’s depending on the rainfall season pattern, most wildebeest and zebra cross the mara river, A visitor should witness the frantic herds of wildebeest crossing the Mara River is amazing.

2. DAY 02: NORTHERN SERENGETI (KOGATENDE) – FULL-DAY GAME DRIVE

   • After breakfast, we head towards the northern Serengeti National Park, the Wagakuria. A visitor will do a game drive en route from the Lobo area to the Wagakuria area. As we head north, good sightings of giraffes, plain game, herds of buffalo, and elephants can often be seen. We arrive in time for lunch at the lodge, and after lunch, we will enjoy an afternoon game drive in the area. The wildebeest migration can normally be found in the Wagakuria area from August to October, becoming a wildlife paradise. A long stretch of the Mara River runs through the northern Serengeti National Park, and the Mara River provides the migration with its most difficult obstacle. Witnessing the frantic herds of wildebeest crossing the Mara River is amazing.

3. DAY 03: NORTHERN SERENGETI (KOGATENDE) – CENTRAL SERONERA (GAME DRIVE)

   • After breakfast, enjoy a game drive in the wagakuria area. Most wildlife animals are found in this area; however, from mid-July to October, the area turns into a paradise. From the northern Serengeti national park, you can enjoy wildebeest migration across the mara river. Visitors should witness the frantic herds of wildebeest crossing the Mara River, which is amazing.

4. DAY 04: NORTHERN SERENGETI (KOGATENDE) - CENTRAL SERENGETI

   • After breakfast, enjoy a game drive in the wagakuria area. Most wildlife animals are found in this area; however, from mid-July and October, the area turns into a wildlife paradise. 5. DAY 05: CENTRAL SERENGETI FULL DAY GAME DRIVE (SERONERA AREA

   • Early in the morning, after breakfast, a visitor should enjoy a full game drive in the park. The area around Lobo and Grumeti rivers has good resident game throughout the year. Non-migrating animals like elephants, buffalo, gazelle, zebra, lions, leopards, and cheetahs can be seen here all year round. The game viewing is very good and you can follow the game for long periods without seeing other vehicles – truly one of the forgotten corners of the Serengeti Plains. Magnificent riverine trees can be found along the river lines and bird species such as kingfishers and fish eagles can be found here.

6. DAY 06: SERENGETI (CENTRAL) – FLY BACK TO ARUSHA

   • After breakfast at the camp, we depart for Serengeti Central (Seronera) Airstrip and enjoy an en-route game drive. Around mid-morning, a visitor joins a scheduled flight from Seronera airstrip to Arusha airport. Upon arrival at Arusha airport, you will meet our driver, who will drive you back to your hotel.
