Itinerary

1. Day 1: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

   • After breakfast, around 7:30 am, depart for Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. 
   • Leaving the highlands behind, you descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. 
   • Head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area. This is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, a valuable water source that attracts diverse wildlife. 
   • Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. 
   • After the game drive, around 5:30 pm, you will return to Tukaone Tented Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

2. Day 2: Exploration in Serengeti National Park

   • After breakfast, depart the lodge early in the morning with a packed lunch for the Seronera area, located at the heart of the park. 
   • The game drive at the well-known Seronera River circuit offers a better chance of spotting leopards resting in the tree branches during the daytime. An enormous pride of lions also resides in this area. The river sustains water year-round, providing drinking and grazing land for the resident species.
   •  Stop for lunch at a convenient picnic site and continue with a game drive in various parts of the area. 
   • In the late evening, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and an overnight stay at Tukuone Tented Camp.

3. Day 3: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro - Arusha

   • After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a picnic lunch. 
   • Before reaching Ngorongoro Crater, you will visit a Maasai village. Upon arrival, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Due to its 2000-ft. high walls, very few animals migrate in and out of the crater, providing an opportunity to see a wide range of wildlife, such as lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and many birds. 
   • Your driver/guide will impress you with their skill in locating hidden animals. 
   • Enjoy lunch at a picnic site beside the lake, and in the late afternoon, ascend the crater.
   • Finally, head back to Arusha, concluding your wildlife adventure.
