Description
Embark on an 18-day luxury Everest Base Camp Trek. Fly to Lukla and trek to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Everest. Enjoy stunning sunrise views from Kala Pattar and reach Everest Base Camp. Visit Tengboche Monastery and explore the traditional Sherpa village of Portsea. Return to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu for an extra day of exploration.
Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu (1345 meters) and Transfer to hotel
Rest day at leisure.

Day 02: Sightseeing/Free day in Kathmandu
Today, we prepare for the trek and also explore the surroundings.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2804 meters) and trek to Phakding (2610 meters)
We take an exciting morning flight to Lukla and then trek to Phakding.

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441 meters)
Today, we trek to Namche Bazaar. Namche is the gateway to Everest Base Camp and has most of the facilities, including good accommodations and restaurants.

Day 05: Acclimatization day/Explore around
We explore the surroundings and have an easy day to prepare for the higher-altitude trek while getting acclimatized.

Day 06: Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3860 meters)
We trek to Tengboche Monastery.

Day 07: Trek to Dingboche (4350 meters)
We trek to Dingboche.

Day 08: Acclimatization day/Explore around
We take a rest day for acclimatization.

Day 09: Trek to Lobuche (4910 meters)
We trek to Lobuche.

Day 10: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5365 meters) then back to Gorak Shep (5180 meters) (Optional)
We trek to Gorak Shep and then hike to Everest Base Camp.

Day 11: Climb Kala Patthar (5545 meters)
Climb Kala Patthar (5545 meters) to see the sunrise and panoramic view of snow-capped peaks, including Everest, and then trek down to Pheriche (4200 meters)

Day 12: Trek to Pheriche (3900 meters)
We trek to Pheriche to explore more traditional Sherpa villages.

Day 13: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441 meters)
We trek down to Namche Bazaar.

Day 14: Trek to Phakding (2610 meters)
We trek down to Phakding.

Day 15: Trek to Lukla (2804 meters)
We trek down to Lukla.

Day 16: Fly back to Kathmandu in the morning and transfer to the hotel
We fly back to Kathmandu.

Day 17: Extra day
Extra day in Kathmandu as a backup in case weather delays the flight from Lukla. We explore Kathmandu.

Day 18: Transfer to the airport
Transfer to the airport for the journey back home.
