Embark on a 10-day trek to Bale Mountain, immersing yourself in the breathtaking landscapes of South Ethiopia. Begin at the Dinsho campsite and trek through scenic valleys, encountering Ethiopian wolves, raptors, and endemic birds. Day 1 - Arrival
- Arrive at the Dinsho campsite (3100 above sea level).
Overnight Addis Ababa.

Day 2 - Trek from Dinsho to Sodota Campsite
- The morning after breakfast is our trekking to Sodota, about 18 km long. Trek from Dinsho through the spectacular scenery of web valley awards to the Finch Habere waterfall, where the Web and Wolla rivers meet. In this area, we have our first chance to spot Ethiopian wolves and raptors, Rock Hyrax. And endemic birds, such as blue-winged goose, wil surely leave you excited and in awe of the actual wilderness of Bale mountains. You will have a coffee/tea break on arrival at the campsite.

Day 3 - Trek from Sodota to Wassam Campsite
- Trek to Wasama through a beautiful landscape and stunning view. Pass through Mararo Valley, where lammergeyer and Verraux eagle keep nests. There will also be a chance to see Ethiopian wolves and numerous bird life. Around 6-7 hours are trekking.

Day 4 - Trek Wasama to Rafu Campsite
- Through this next section, wilderness becomes very easy; see how the Bale mountain Massif formed through one super volcano long ago. The ice age with glacial has also taken some serious sculpting of the mountain. But the walk between Wasama and Rafu highlights the volcanic influence; incredible rock formation of basalt pipes and granite boulders litter the high country and makes walking through here a stunning experience of 5-6 hours of trekking.

Day 5 - Trek to Sanetti Plateau
- The morning after breakfast, leave the beautiful Rafu and head to Sanetti plateau; falcon, raptors, and possibly Ethiopian wolf will be visible; pass through the most beautiful Afro-alpine Moor land, beautiful wild alpine scenery and lakes on the plateau; here on the plateau meet the vehicle and continue driving to the next nearby town Robe/Goba for overnight trekking will take 6-7 hours.

Day 6 - Bale Mountain - Arba Minch
- The morning after breakfast, leave Bale mountain and drive towards southern parts of the country to Arb Minch town with some stops; arrive in Arba Minch and transfer to accommodation for overnight.

Day 7 - Visit the Dorze Tribe
- After breakfast, we will take a boat trip on Lake Chamo and view some of the world's largest crocodiles on the lake's banks. Hippopotamus and birdlife are also abundant. Then in the short afternoon, drive to visit the Dorze tribes on the Guhe mountain. The Doreze is renowned for its cotton weaving techniques and the beehive-shaped house constructed entirely from organic materials. Here you can see in their village unique beehive huts, observe their exceptional cotton weaving skills and learn about their life and traditions.

Day 8 - Drive to Turmi - Visit Konso and Meet Hammer Tribes
- The morning after breakfast, drive to Turmi, a small center, to visit the omo valley tribes. On the way, stop at the Konso and visit their village. The Konso tribes are famous for their agricultural terracing methods and wooden totems honouring the dead. The Knoso village is a world heritage listed site for its cultural significance. The village is surrounded by high stone walls that encompass separate compounds. After lunch, continue further south through the Acacia Forest to Turmi. They're known for the fine pottery they produce, as well as their remarkable hairstyle. The women are striking, wearing beautiful colourful beaded goat skin ornaments, necklaces and meats bangles around their wrists and ankles. This decoration indicates the wealth and prestige of a woman's husband.

Day 9 - Drive to Omorate - Visit Dassanech - Back to Turmi or the next distension
- In the morning, travel towards Omorate on a 75 km best asphalt road to visit the Dessenach tribes; Omorate lies on the banks of the Omo River, close to the border of Kenya. You will cross the Omo River with a local boat and walk to one of the Dassanech villages. The Dassanech are semi-nomadic tribes living on the shores of the omo river; their clans stretch across Sudan, Kenya, and southern Ethiopia. They're known for their very unique ornate hair buns; They grow crops and fish, then return to Turmi, continue to the lodge for lunch, and then, depending on time, continue for the next sightseeing.
- Drive to Jinka, arrive at Jinka, and visit the village of the Ari people or tribe; the people of Ari live in the lush surrounding of the Jinka and grow coffee and fruits for trading and self-consumption. Their village is green and surrounded by bananas, mango, and avocado, and it's the most beautiful in the country.

Day 10 - Departure
- Early in the morning, you will drive through Mago national park to visit one of the villages of the Mursi tribes, the Mursi possible most well-known tribes in the area, are famous for both their women who practice extending their lower lips with Clay discs and their men who engage in stick fighting rituals is called Donga, the Mursi are probably the last tribes in Africa amongst whom it is still the norm for women to wear those large pottery or wooden discs or plates, afterwards, return back to Jinka then transfer to airport for a return fight back to Addis Ababa.
