Itinerary

1. Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Kasbah Ameridil – Ouarzazate – Valley of Roses – Boumalne Dades

   • The departure of our four-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour, in the morning, around 7 or 8 am. 
   • Our driver will pick you up from your accommodation and leave Marrakech through the Atlas Passes. 
   • On the road, we will make stops to enjoy the stunning views of the Atlas Mountains and Tizi N’tichka pass (2260m). 
   • Continuing our trip to Ouarzazate, famed as “the Hollywood of Africa”, where we will stop for lunch; later, we will admire the architecture of the Kasbah Taourirte.
   • In the afternoon, we will drive to Boumalne Dades city through the road of thousand Kasbahs & Roses Valley; we will visit Kasbah Ameridil, located in the palm grove of Skoura. In the evening, reach Boumalne Dades with its beautiful valley, where we will spend the first night, dinner and overnight in a hotel or riad.

2. Day 2: Dades Valley – Tinghir City – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Erg-Chebbi Sand Dunes (MERZOUGA)

   • After a traditional Moroccan breakfast, we will start the Sahara desert tour from Boumalne Dades to Merzouga. 
   • In Boumalne, we’ll enjoy the panoramic views of Dades valley. After that, we will drive to Tinghir city, where we can stop in the stunning Todra valley, with Berber villages and palm groves. 
   • Then, continuing to Todra Gorge, a chilly and natural place with its towering orange cliffs, the canyons of Todra Gorge are almost 1,000 feet deep. Also, it’s a preferred place for the climbers, where we will take time to discover this incredible place.
   • In the afternoon, we continue our road to the Sahara desert along many Berber villages such as Tinjdad, Melaab and Erfoud. You will have time for lunch on the way. 
   • Once we arrive at the magical land of Erg-Chebbi dunes, you will take a camel trek at about 1:30mim across the beautiful, unique orange-coloured dunes to the desert camp. A great experience where you can feed your soul and enjoy the incredible sunset from the middle of the dunes. 
   • Dinner & overnight will be in camp, music played, and you can frolic on the dunes under zillions of stars.

3. Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani City – Alnif – N’kob – Tazarine – Agdez – Ouarzazate

   • Today, wake up early and climb the sand dunes to enjoy the beautiful sunrise. After breakfast & shower, you will ride a camel back to Merzouga town. 
   • We drive from Merzouga to Ouarzazate through Rissani (Tafilalt), where we will walk around the famous, traditional and biggest Market of the area, exploring the local-made goods and art crafts. It’s better to visit Rissani on one of the following days: Sunday, Tuesday or Thursday. 
   • On these three days is a souk, so it’s a good day for the people of the desert area that want to go shopping. Continue the journey via Alinf, Tazarine and N’kob, where we will stop for lunch.
   • In the afternoon, we will drive along the beautiful Draa Valley, lined with old Kasbahs, Berber villages and palm groves. Our tour continues to Ouarzazate through Agdez town and crossing the Anti-Atlas Mountains (1660m). In the evening, we’ll arrive in Ouarzazate; dinner and overnight will be in a hotel or riad.

4. Day 4: Ouarzazate – Atlas Studios – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Ounila valley – Telouet village – High Atlas – Marrakech

   • On the last day of the 4 days from Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour, we will visit the world-renowned cinema studio (Atlas studios) in Ouarzazate after breakfast. 
   • Our trip continues to the next point, Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a fortified walled city built right on the caravan path between Marrakech and the Sahara and once a thriving trading post during the 17th century. 
   • Inside the high mud walls are 6 Kasbahs and several homes. Ait Benhaddou has appeared in several movies, including Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia & Games of thrones.
     Finally, continue our tour to Marrakech via the high Atlas Mountains.
   • We will drive via the stunning Ounila valley and Telouet village, where we can rest there and have lunch in a local restaurant—later pass through the high point of Tizi N’tichka pass (2260m). 
   • To reach Marrakech in the evening, drop you off at your accommodation and finish our four days tours & services.
