Our comfortable, A/C, 4wd vehicles will allow you to relish the 18km (12 miles) rough road route from Kaliviani village to the Balos parking area, which compatible vehicles can’t offer. Enjoy the magnificent view of Balos from high above and take memorable photos of this magnificent view. The last stop is Falassarna beach. Enjoy the bright sun on one of the longest sandy beaches on Crete, swim in the crystal clear waters and sunbathe on the reserved sunbeds/umbrellas just for you! Finish your tour with a tasty, traditional meal in a local restaurant. You may be wondering why to swim at Falassarna and not at Balos! At Balos, there are no restaurants/cafe bars and no conveniences according to our standards Falassarna beach is where the locals like to swim! Trust our plan and enjoy your day.

Balos Lagoon and Falassarna Beach with Lunch
- Chania-Balos Parking area: It is too important to be at the Balos parking area as soon as possible to avoid the thousands of people visiting the area daily. Driving on the rough road and heading to Balos, you will see many goats and sheep and have the chance for nice pictures and selfies! The scenery is magnificent.
- Balos Viewpoint: After 6 - 8 minutes of walking time will be at our favourite Balos Viewpoint. Sports shoes or sandals are recommended to be easier and safer to hike up to the viewpoint. The view is fantastic! You will be at the highest point of the mountain, and you will enjoy nature's beauty! Take pictures and look at the crystal-clear water from the west side, with the mountain, the goats and the sheep from the east side. A unique scenery!
- Balos Parking Area - Kaliviani Village: If you are lucky, you will feed goats, having one more experience in your life. At the same time, you will see how many people visit Balos every day when we drive opposite Falassarna beach. Our plan is the best, and you have to trust us!
- Falassarna Beach/Lunch time: There is no reason to be stressed. Sunbeds and umbrellas are on reservation for you at the 1st row of seats, close to the ocean. You will enjoy 3 hours on the beach. Coffee, bottled water or soft drinks are included in the price during your time at the beach. On reservation again, you will have your lunchtime at the restaurant behind the beach. Our partners will serve you traditional local tastes with wine and beer.
